Ce projet a quatre parties. La première présente la méthodologie qui avance un motif ontologique de l'être non-substantif et transhumain: fluide et multiple, pas autonome, un processus, un événement, qui prend sérieusement la durée, le devenir, la force, l'affect, la contingence, et l'émergence. Ceci est contrasté avec l'humanisme des Lumières et son ontologie de la substance. Les deuxième et troisième parties justifient cette ontologie en déployant les preuves issues de récents développements en biologie et en télétechnologie afin d'établir l'humain en tant qu'être inextricablement interdépendant, inter-espèce, et technologiquement textures. Les conclusions annoncent les effets normatifs, dans la mesure où elle présente un nouveau récit de la gamme des réponses à la question de comment on pourrait vivre. Je souligne la capacité d'une ontologie à réguler et limiter les plateformes éthico-politiques que nous pouvons défendre, ainsi qu'à produire de nouvelles possibilités humaines.This project consists of four parts. The first presents the methodological framework, which advances an ontological motif of non-substantive and transhuman being: fluid and multiple, non-autonomous, a process, an event that takes seriously duration, becoming, flux, force, affect, contingence, and emergence. This is contrasted with and repudiation of the hegemonic Enlightenment humanism and its ontology of substance. The second and third parts justify the preference for this ontology by deploying evidence from recent biology and teletechnology in order to establish the human as an inextricably interdependent, inter-speciesed, and artifactually/technologically textured being. The conclusions announce the normative effects: how this ontology renarrates the range of responses to the question of how one might live.
