Combination of aerobic and anaerobic means in physical culture classes
The aim of research is to support the usefulness of using combination of aerobic and anaerobic means in educational-training classes on physical culture. The study involved 186 students of Belgorod National Research University and Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and La
B. P. Mansurov’s Trip to East in 1856—1857
The article deals with the activities of the official of the Maritime Ministry B. P. Mansurov, sent in 1856 by Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolayevich to the Turkish East in order to compile a guide for pilgrims and collect information about their situation in Palestine. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that Mansurov's activities marked the beginning of the construction of infrastructure for Russian pilgrims, called ‘Russian Palestine’. The material for the study are three reports by Mansurov. It is shown that the first report was dictated by the rivalry between the Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolayevich and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs A. M. Gorchakov. Attention is paid to the second version of the report, handed over to the emperor and ministers, in which criticism of the Foreign Ministry was smoothed over. Particular attention is paid to the fact that, under the influence of Gorchakov, Mansurov tried to remove the most acute political problems from the third version of the report, which was already sent to senior officials. It is proved that Mansurov’s report received a wide response and became the subject of consideration by the Committee of Ministers. The issue of the further fate of Mansurov’s report, published in the form of a book entitled “Orthodox worshipers in Palestine”, which was supposed to draw attention to the problem of pilgrims and raise funds to help them, is considered
Russian “Jerusalem Project” of Mid-19th Century : Activities of B. P. Mansurov and Russian Society of Shipping and Trade
The activity of the official of the Maritime Ministry B. P. Mansurov as an agent of the Russian Society of Shipping and Trade is considered. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that in 1857—1860 the Russian Society of Shipping and Trade combined the tasks of setting up new transport lines in the East and caring for Russian pilgrims. It is noted that Mansurov’s activities marked the beginning of the construction of Russian Palestine. It is shown that Mansurov’s reports became the main documents of the “Jerusalem Project”, designed to unite different departments in order to strengthen Russia’s influence in the East. It is emphasized that Mansurov drew the attention of both the authorities and the Russian society to the situation of the pilgrims and contributed to the successful construction of Russian Palestine. The novelty of the research lies in the introduction of new documents into the scientific circulation, allowing to trace the history of relations between Mansurov and the Russian Society of Shipping and Trade, the reasons and process of the shipping company's exit from the Jerusalem Project, financing of the care of pilgrims by the Russian Society of Shipping and Trade
47.4: Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light Emitting Device Stability Analysis
A model based on defect generation by exciton‐polaron annihilation interactions between the emitter and host molecules, in a blue phosphorescent OLED, is shown to fit well with experimental data. A blue PHOLED with (0.15, 0.25) chromaticity is shown to have a half‐life, from 1,000 nits, of 690 hrs.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/92134/1/1.3069766.pd
Respiratory gymnastics for students with cardiological diseases
Purpose: to give scientific justification to the technique of performing breathing exercises by students with cardiological diseases. It is confirmed the expediency of systematic application of the breathing exercises with a full breath and interval hypoxia. Conclusions: It is expedient to perform breathing exercises on the classes of the subject "Physical culture" with the students suffer from cardiological disease
Glass-fiber membranes for storing, transportation and further characterization of agricultural plant biomaterial
The modified glass-fiber membranes possess high mechanical strength, good wetting and storage capacity, these properties render them a promising medium for storing dry biomaterial collected from agricultural plants. The obtained results prove usability of membrane carriers for crop science as a whole and detection of plant diseases in particular, and for food quality monitoring, especially carried out in the fiel
First year infant motor asymmetry origins and prevention: parental awareness survey
Objective of the study was to survey the parental awareness of the origins of infant motor asymmetry and its prevention method
Methods of functional training for lower limb amputees
The purpose of thisStudy is to develop a functional training method for lower limb amputees to assistthem to stand on prostheses and learn to walk. The hypothesis of thisStudy is the idea that integrating methods of functional training (wave gymnastics, hypoxic training and Key method developed by K. Aliyev) into the rehabilitation program on learning to walk with prostheses will have both mental and physical impact on the patients’ organisms and provide for successfulmastering of walkin
Momentum-resolved spectral functions of SrVO calculated by LDA+DMFT
LDA+DMFT, the merger of density functional theory in the local density
approximation and dynamical mean-field theory, has been mostly employed to
calculate k-integrated spectra accessible by photoemission spectroscopy. In
this paper, we calculate k-resolved spectral functions by LDA+DMFT. To this
end, we employ the Nth order muffin-tin (NMTO) downfolding to set up an
effective low-energy Hamiltonian with three t_2g orbitals. This downfolded
Hamiltonian is solved by DMFT yielding k-dependent spectra. Our results show
renormalized quasiparticle bands over a broad energy range from -0.7 eV to +0.9
eV with small ``kinks'', discernible in the dispersion below the Fermi energy.Comment: 21 pages, 8 figure
Coulomb correlation effects in LaOFeAs: LDA+DMFT(QMC) study
Effects of Coulomb correlation on LaOFeAs electronic structure have been
investigated by LDA+DMFT(QMC) method. The calculation results show that LaOFeAs
is in the regime of intermediate correlation strength with significant part of
the spectral density moved from the Fermi energy to Hubbard bands. However the
system is not on the edge of metal insulator-transition because increase of the
Coulomb interaction parameter value from =4.0 eV to =5.0 eV did not
result in insulator state. Correlations affect different d-orbitals not in the
same way. states ( and orbitals) have higher energy
due to crystal filed splitting and are nearly half-filled. Their spectral
functions have pseudogap with Fermi energy position on the higher sub-band
slope. Lower energy set of d-orbitals ( and ) have
significantly larger occupancy values with typically metallic spectral
functions.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
