Horizon Formation in High-Energy Particles Collision
We investigate a classical formation of a trapped surface in 4-dimensional
flat space-time in a process of a non-head-on collision of two high-energy
particles which are treated as Aichelburg-Sexl shock waves. From the condition
of the horizon volume local maximality an equation for the trapped surface is
deduced. Using a known solution on the shocks we find a time-dependent solution
describing the trapped surface between the shocks. We analyze the horizon
appearance and evolution. Obtained results may describe qualitatively the

Explaining the importance of alliances and partnerships, the article investigates the sixth power question of industry competitiveness, which can be an addition to the Porter's five force model. Under the globalization process and the latest achievements in the sphere of high technologies, many companies are forced to focus on the benefits of alliances and partnerships with complementors. The author believes that the complementors have no need to increase or decrease the competitiveness of firms in various industries. They just add one more layer of the structural complexity to the competitive environment
TRENDS IN INDUSTRY CONSOLIDATION PROCESSES AND STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
The situation in the Russian automotive industry in the past few years can be characterized as a high degree of uncertainty. Since the global economic crisis began, the automotive industry of the Russian Federation has been one of the most «affected» industries. The article deals with the dynamics the automotive industry development of the rate in the Russian Federation from 2011 to 2015. According to analysis results, the degree of the automotive industry concentration was evaluated, as well as the stage of industry consolidation was determined in 2015 respectively. The author believes that the structural changes in the automotive industry are encouraging TOP-management to seek strategic solutions in order to achieve competitive advantages in the industry
Intensity distribution in rotational line spectra
Completely resolved Doppler-free rotational line spectra of six vibronic two-photon bands in benzene C6 H6 and C6 D6 are presented. The excited final states possess different excess energies in S1 (1567 to 2727 cm−1 ) and are embedded in dense manifolds of background states with differing densities of states (1<rho<60 1/cm−1 ). The bands are analyzed by a statistical procedure. The intensity distribution of several hundreds of lines of each band is investigated. It is found that all weakly perturbed bands display a similar, peaked intensity distribution while in strongly perturbed bands the number of lines decreases monotonically with increasing intensity. The origin of this difference is discussed in terms of coupling to the many background states. The Journal of Chemical Physics is copyrighted by The American Institute of Physics

Dicke Coherent Narrowing in Two-Photon and Raman Spectroscopy of Thin Vapour Cells
The principle of coherent Dicke narrowing in a thin vapour cell, in which
sub-Doppler spectral lineshapes are observed under a normal irradiation for a
l/2 thickness, is generalized to two-photon spectroscopy. Only the sum of the
two wave vectors must be normal to the cell, making the two-photon scheme
highly versatile. A comparison is provided between the Dicke narrowing with
copropagating fields, and the residual Doppler-broadening occurring with
counterpropagating geometries. The experimental feasibility is discussed on the
basis of a first observation of a two-photon resonance in a 300 nm-thick Cs
cell. Extension to the Raman situation is finally considered
Some solutions of linearized 5-d gravity with brane
We consider linearized 5-d gravity in the Randall-Sundrum brane world. The
class of static solutions for linearized Einstein equations is found. Also we
obtaine wave solutions describing radiation from an imaginary point source
located at the Planck distance from the brane. We analyze the fields asymptotic

МОДЕЛЬ ОЧАГА НЕФТЕГОРСКОГО ЗЕМЛЕТРЯСЕНИЯ 1995 ГОДА (СЕВЕРНЫЙ САХАЛИН) НА ОСНОВЕ ГЕОДЕЗИЧЕСКИХ ДАННЫХ
The May 27, 1995 Mw=7.0 Neftegorsk earthquake occurred in the north of Sakhalin Island, rupturing the Upper Piltun fault, a secondary feature of the main Hokkaido-Sakhalin regional fault zone. The fault geometry, coseismic slip model, and Coulomb stress changes in the earthquake focal area were calculated based on a finite fault modeling. We used near-field coseismic offsets at 24 points obtained by comparison between predating triangulation and GPS observations, which were collected before and after the earthquake. Our slip distribution model shows two major slip patches. Larger slip asperity (amplitude up to 6.36 m) was characterized by right-lateral strike-slip movements, which correspond to focal mechanism of the earthquake, whereas the northern segment has reverse fault mechanism with maximum slip of 2.64 m. The fault length and width, average slip and stress drop values are estimated at 78 km, 28 km, 1.91 m and 11.3 MPa, respectively. The estimated release moment is approximately 7.49×1019 N∙m equal to Mw=7.2, which is larger than that reported by the USGS and GCMT but consistent with the values reported by other researchers. The coseismic Coulomb stress changes enhanced the stress by more than 10 MPa on the southern segment of the Gyrgylaninsky fault and middle section of the Hokkaido–Sakhalin fault. Seismic risks on the nearest faults cannot be ignored in the future despite the fact that the earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 occurred in 2010 near the Gyrgylaninsky fault. The recent GPS rates in the surroundings of the Neftegorsk surface rupture mean that the recurrence interval for similar earthquakes may be more than a thousand years.27 мая 1995 года на севере острова Сахалин произошло землетрясение Mw=7.0, в результате которого вскрылся Верхнепильтунский сейсморазрыв – вторичный сегмент главной Хоккайдо-Сахалинской разломной зоны региона. Геометрия сейсморазрыва, косейсмические смещения и изменение кулоновских напряжений в очаговой области рассчитаны на основе модели конечного источника. Для моделирования использовались косейсмические смещения 24 пунктов, которые получены путем сравнения данных триангуляции и GPS-наблюдений до и после землетрясения. Моделированием установлены два основных участка разрывных нарушений с различным распределением смещений. Больший участок (с амплитудой 6.36 м) характеризуется правосторонними сдвиговыми смещениями, направление которых соответствует механизму очага землетрясения, в то время как северный сегмент сейсморазрыва имел противоположную подвижку с локальной амплитудой смещения 2.64 м. Длина и ширина разлома, средние значения смещений и сброшенных напряжений составили 78 км, 28 км, 1.91 м и 11.3 МПа соответственно. Расчетный сейсмический момент 7.49×1019 Н·м соответствует магнитуде Мw=7.2 и несколько больше оценок USGS и GCMT, однако согласуется с данными других исследований. Косейсмическое приращение кулоновского напряжения более чем на 10 МПа выявлено в южном сегменте Гыргыланьинского и центральной части Хоккайдо-Сахалинского разлома. Несмотря на то, что на Гыргыланьинском разломе в 2010 г. произошло землетрясение магнитудой 5.8, сейсмическую опасность в районе исследований нельзя игнорировать в будущем. Величины современных скоростей GPS-пунктов в окрестности Нефтегорского сейсморазрыва свидетельствуют о том, что период повторяемости подобных землетрясений может составлять более тысячи лет
