PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS ON FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION IN FURNITURE INDUSTRY, A CASE STUDY IN BANTUL, YOGYAKARTA, INDONESIA
The Supply Chain Management is a new philosophy encouraging internal and external integration which encompass all the aspects, from the supplier until down to the customers. Transportation plays a major role in achieving efficiency and effectiveness because the role of transportation in the Supply Chain is as the intermediary help to distribute the physical goods from one entity to another entity. For this reason, the objective of this research is to analyse and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of inbound and outbound logistics in the furniture industry in Bantul, Yogyakarta. Firstly, the author will try to draw the supply chain mapping in order to gain more understanding about the entities in the supply chain. Secondly, performance of the transportation modes that will be used to move the furniture will be assessed through questionnaire. Thirdly, the author will try to analyse the response if rail transportation is proposed as an alternative transportation mode to move the goods. Lastly, conclusion and recommendation regarding the issue will be derived as implied in the result from data analysis. MIP-TFMAA-co-TRIM as Selective Adsorption of β-sitosterol
A functional monomer of trifluoromethylacrylic acid (TFMAA), a cross-linker of trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TRIM) and a template molecule of β-sitosterol have been used to produce a molecularly imprinted polymer, MIP_TFMAA-co-TRIM by a polymerization process based on non-covalent interaction between the monomer and the template. After the removal of the template, we used the product of MIP as an adsorbent of β-sitosterol and determined the adsorption capacity. The adsorption-desorption process for β-sitosterol and the selectivity test for β-sitosterol and cholesterol were also studied. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and UV-vis spectrophotometry were methods for measuring the amount of .materials adsorbed. Langmuir and Freundlich equations were models used to study the adsorption isotherm of the removal of β-sitosterol. The adsorption of β-sitosterol on MIP_TFMAA-co-TRIM followed the Freundlich isotherm with a capacity of 0.61 mg/g. The first and the second adsorption-desorption processes showed that the recovery percentages of β-sitosterol from MIP_TFMAA-co-TRIM were 66.36 and 40.56%, respectively. The MIP was more selective for β-sitosterol than for cholesterol

Efek pemberian larutan diazinon per oral terhadap kerusakan sel-sel tubuli ginjal mencit
One of the pesticide which very common to protect plants from the pest is diazinon. But this pesticide contain neurotoxic organophosphate bound. The organophosphate bound has also an effect on kidney’s tissue. Recently the research about effect of diazinon still required. The sudy was carried out to observe the effect of diazinon on cells of tubuli renalis in mice. This study was used 30 mice, by random sampling became 6 goup. Three groups for controle (K1, K2, and K3) and three groups for treatment (P1, P2, and P3). The controle groups were given 0.5 ml aquadest and the treatment groups were given 150 ppm of 0.5 ml diazinon solution up to 10,20, and 40 days for P1, P2, and P2 sub sequently. The result showed that the effect of diazinon solution given per oral for the difference time were caused difference demage level on cells ob the tubuli renalis in mice
Eksplorasi Teknologi Pendukung Data Science untuk Industri Unggulan di Wilayah Kota Surabaya dan Sekitarnya
Data science competence is still quite uncommon for most people, even though this competence is very important in managing business development strategies in various leading industrial fields. Through data science, companies can find patterns, perform clustering, calculate predictions more accurately to make decisions that have an impact on company excellence. Lack of knowledge about data science, researchers seek firstly in the industry to explore tools that are mostly used, convenience, challenges, measuring success tools and advantages. In this study, the researchers conducted a Focus Group Discussion by interviewing resource persons who worked as Data Scientists. Interview method to discuss aspects of Demographics, aspects of Technology-Task Fitness, and aspects of the Technology Acceptance Model. The results of this study conclude that the tools that are the mainstay of the industry in Surabaya and its surroundings area are Jupyter Notebook, Python, and Tableau. The success in using these tools still depends on the user's abilities, the results of user simulations, team discussions, and the evaluation process
