The Effects of Different Water Flow Rates on the Survival Rate of Blue Crab (Portunus Pelagicus) Zoea IV - Megalopa Stages
Blue crab (Portunus pelagicus) is a potential marine crustacean's commodity. The increase demand both local and International market of the blue crab result in the culture development of this species. The larval stage of blue crab, especially at zoea IV to megalopa, plays an important rule on the successful of the production of marketable size under culture condition.Low survival rate of zoea IV to megalopa stage mostly due to their photo taxis behavior, thus, they are trapped at the water surface. Management of water flow rate on the zoea IV holding tank may be able to reduce their mortality rate and can reach megalopa stage successfully. The water flow rate management would keep the zoea in the suspension as well as improving the water quality, i.e. increases the dissolved oxygen in the water. This investigation was done to find out the effects of different water flow rates on the survival rate of blue crab (Portunus pelagicus) zoea IV stage. The tested animal was blue crab at zoea IV stage which undergoes an investigation up to megalopa stage. An experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design was applied. The 5 (five) treatments of different water flow rates were used, i.e.: A (0,25 l/minute), B (0,5 l/minute), C (0,75 l/minute), D (1,0 l/minute), E (0,0 l/minute). Each treatment was replicated three times. The results shows that different water flow rates gave a highly significant difference (P<0,01) on the survival rate of blue crab zoea IV - megaloga stage. The highest survival rate at the end of the experiment (at megalopa stage) was at treatment C (0,75 l/minute): 30,44
Anteseden Perceived Risk Pada Purchase Intention
The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of perceived risk to purchase intention private label products in Indonesia modern market. This study used primary data sources obtained directly by distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling techniques, gathered 200 respondents with minimum criteria of period at least 18 years while maximum of period is > 61 years and have bought private label products. The dependent variable in this study is purchase intention, while independent variables are considered functional risk, perceived financial risk, physical risk, and perception of psychological risk. Data analysis use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that there was a negative effect on financial risk, the perceived physical risk to buy an interest in functional perception, the psychological risk has no effect on purchase intention on private label product. The implications for the manager is to increase consumer buying intentions by taking into account factors such as perceptions of financial risk and perceptions of physical risk
The Cultural Differences and Intercultural Adaptation on Partnership Relation of Core-Plasma Plantation in Tea Estate of Indonesia
This research was a qualitative research aiming at understanding the cultural differences and intercultural adaptation on partnership relation of core-plasma plantation in Tea Estate of Pagilaran Ltd Co, Indonesia. Collecting data were done by depth interviewing the worker's core plantation and the plasma farmer concerning problems faced by both relationship. The results showed that culture of core plantation community tended to orientate to economical aspect with commercial basis, meanwhile culture of the farmers tended to orientate to group's interest and to keep on their relationship among them with traditional habit and ecological sound. In relation to adaptation process, the two communities seemed to develop similar culture with capital interest. In this regards the similar cultures can be seen in two sides: from the side of core plantation, people working in the core plantation are come from similar culture with the indigenous farmers and the factory is also located in the farmer's area. Meanwhile from the point of view of farmers, the similar culture as the result of cultural adaptation. Furthermore, the cultural differences shown by the core plantation and plasma farmer communities were due to the normative rules maintained by the company and also due to the different educational level and knowledge of both. To that respect, in core plantation community, the culture orientated to capital achievement implies the communication attitude on the business interest, where as the communication attitude of farmer community is more orientated to local interest using informal and interpersonal channel. Finally the communication differences in the two communities impede the process of organizational objective. And the communication attitude of the core plantation community is changed and unified with the communication attitude of plasma farmer
Jadi hipotesis (Ha) adalah, “Adanya Pengaruh Penggunaan Teknik Discovery Dengan Media Gambar Membangkitkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 19 Mataram Pada Bidang Studi PPKn Tahun Pelajaran 2017-2018”. Diterima. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of using discovery techniques with image media to arouse students' interest in learning in the seventh grade PPKn subjects at SMP 19 Mataram. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, with an experimental approach. Data collection method is documentation and questionnaire observation method with product moment correlation data analysis method. The results of the study are based on data analysis, namely: The results of the analysis of the data obtained in is 0.574, with a significant level of 5%, then the value of 0.300 is obtained. So the r value of the calculation is greater than the r table value (0.574> 0.300). So the hypothesis (Ha) is, "The Influence of Using Discovery Techniques With Image Media Generates Student Interest in Class VII SMPN 19 Mataram In The Field of KDP Studies Lesson 2017-2018". Be accepted
