Sistem Deteksi Dini Penyakit Mulut dan Gigi dengan Metode Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making
Gigi dan mulut adalah gerbang kesehatan tubuh. Gangguan gigi menjadi faktor risiko penyakit kronis seperti gagal ginjal, diabetes, dan gangguan jantung. Penyakit mulut dan gigi adalah penyakit tidak menular paling banyak yang diderita masyarakat. Layanan kesehatan gigi terbilang mahal, hal ini berdampak luas terhadap ekonomi dan membebani dana jaminan sosial. Sistem pakar adalah sebuah program yang mencoba menirukan proses pemikiran dan pengetahuan dari pakar-pakar dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Oleh karena itu, dibangunlah sebuah sistem yang memiliki pengetahuan seperti pakar gigi dan mulut untuk dapat melakukan diagnosa awal penyakit mulut dan gigi. Android tidak hanya platform smartphone paling popular di dunia, tetapi juga memiliki aplikasi terbanyak. Hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung pembangunan sistem ini dengan basis Android. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan metode Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making. Tingkat akurasi sistem dengan pakar dalam mendeteksi awal penyakit mulut dan gigi mencapai 71,67%
Summarizing Text for Indonesian Language by Using Latent Dirichlet Allocation and Genetic Algorithm
The number of documents progressively increases especially for the electronic one. This degrades effectivity and efficiency in managing them. Therefore, it is a must to manage the documents. Automatic text summarization is able to solve by producing text document summaries. The goal of the research is to produce a tool to summarize documents in Bahasa: Indonesian Language. It is aimed to satisfy the user's need of relevant and consistent summaries. The algorithm is based on sentence features scoring by using Latent Dirichlet Allocation and Genetic Algorithm for determining sentence feature weights. It is evaluated by calculating summarization speed, precision, recall, F-measure, and some subjective evaluations. Extractive summaries from the original text documents can represent important information from a single document in Bahasa with faster summarization speed compared to manual process. Best F-measure value is 0,556926 (with precision of 0.53448 and recall of 0.58134) and summary ratio of 30%
The Relationship of Proinflammatory and Antiinflammatory Adipokines in the Development of Metabolic Syndrome in Centrally Obese Men
BACKGROUND: The increased prevalence of obesity worldwide is correlated with increasing prevalence of metabolic syndrome. Studies of adipose tissue have been improved from an inert energy storage to a metabolic active endocrine organ. Adipokines secreted by this tissue play a role in maintaining metabolic homeostasis. The large mass of visceral fat tissue causing the imbalance of these adipokines leading to metabolic abnormality known as the metabolic syndrome (MetS). This study was performed to understand relationship of proinflammatory adipokines (resistin, TNF-α, RBP4 and visfatin) and anti-inflammatory adipokines (adiponectin and vaspin) in the development of MetS.METHODS: This was a cross-sectional study using 122 central obesity men with waist circumference >90 cm, age from 30–60 years old. Proinflammatory adipokines (resistin, TNF-α, RBP4 and visfatin) and anti-inflammatory adipokines (adiponectin and vaspin) was measured by ELISA method.RESULTS: The crosstab study showed that subjects who have >2 high proinflammatory adipokines (17.3%) has higher MetS prevalence (OR = 1.16; p = 0.72) compare to subjects with <2 high proinflammatory adipokines (14.8%), subjects with low anti-inflammatory adipokines profile (18.9%) has higher prevalence of MetS (OR=1.38; p=0.22) compare to subjects with high anti-inflammatory adipokines (13.7%) and the prevalence of MetS became 1.49 times higher (p=0.24) when we combine the high RBP4 and low adiponectin profile (21.1%) compare to subjects with low RBP4 and high adiponectin (14%).CONCLUSIONS: This study showed that each adipokine was not strong enough to induce MetS, so the interaction between proinflammatory and antiinflammatory adipokines were needed to induce a systemic metabolic abnormality. Thus, the adipokines equilibrium was important to prevent MetS especially in centrally obese subjects
Thermoresponsive behavior of amphiphilic diblock co-oligomers of ethylene glycol and styrene in aqueous solution
We report the thermoresponsive behavior in aqueous solution of amphiphilic diblock co-oligomers of ethylene glycol (EG) and styrene (S) obtained by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization (mPEG16-b-PS2, mPEG16-b-PS4 and mPEG16-b-PS6). The block co-oligomers were obtained from the polymerization of styrene mediated by a PEG macro-RAFT agent, mPEG-PBTC. The precise control offered by RAFT polymerization over the length of the short hydrophobic chain permits tuning of the thermoresponsive behavior for all the studied methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-block-polystyrene copolymers. mPEG 16-b-PS2 was shown to self-assemble into micelles at temperatures below the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of the block co-oligomer, whilst no such critical temperature was observed for solutions of self-assembled mPEG16-b-PS4 and mPEG16-b- PS6. mPEG16-b-PS4 self-assembles into relatively mobile spherical particles which evolve into prolate spheroids with increasing temperature, whilst mPEG16-b-PS6 forms particle clusters, which have lower mobility than the mPEG16-b-PS4 particles. This work is the first study on the aggregation behavior of such short chain lengths of mPEG-b-PS as a function of temperature, and shows how tuning the PS oligomer length permits control of the thermoresponsive behavior of mPEG-b-PS assemblies in water
The Relationship Between Retinol/Retinol Binding Protein 4 ratio, resistin and inflammation in non diabetic obese Indonesian men
<p><strong>Aim</strong> To verify the correlation between Retinol/RBP4 Ratio, and resistin with inflammation (represented by hsCRP) in non-diabetic obese Indonesian men</p><p><strong>Methods</strong> This was a cross sectional study using 125 subjects. Measured parameters were retinol, RBP4, resistin, and hsCRP. Correlation between retinol, RBP4, resistin, hsCRP and Retinol/RBP4 Ratio was calculated. Cut off point of hsCRP were classiied as follows: <1 mg/l for low risk of inflammation, 1-3 mg/l for moderate risk, and 3-10 mg/l for high risk (according to CVD risk). The Retinol/RBP4 ratio was dichotomized into high (>0.9) and low ratio (≤0.9). The cross tabulation test was performed to predict the inflammation trends described by Retinol/RBP4 Ratio and resistin.</p><p><strong>Results</strong> Retinol was found strongly correlated with RBP4 and resistin (r=0.53; p<0.01). A positive but not significant correlation was found between resistin and Retinol/RBP4 Ratio with hsCRP. In high ratio group, 17.6% subjects were found with low risk inflammation, 26.4% with moderate risk, and 20.8% with high risk, in low ratio group, 8% subjects were low risk inflammation, 20% moderate risk, and 7.2% high risk. Combination between ratio and resistin showed that in “high ratio and low resistin” group, 12% subjects have low risk of inflammation and 8% have high risk. Meanwhile in “low ratio and high resistin” group, 3.2% subjects were found having low risk and 13.6% high risk of inflammation.</p><p><strong>Conclusions</strong> Combination between Retinol/RBP4 Ratio and resistin showed better description about the inflammation risk in non-diabetic obese subjects compare to the ratio itself. <em><strong>(Med J Indones 2010; 19:57-63)</strong></em></p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> <em>Retinol, RBP4, resistin, hsCRP, obesity, inflammation</em></p
Pengaruh Program Kompensasi terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan Mama's German Restaurant
- Pariwisata adalah hal yang sangat penting bagi perekonomian di Indonesia.Salah satu bidang pariwisata yang sedang populer adalah wisata kuliner. Salah satu tujuan wisata kuliner yang sering dikunjungi wisatawan adalah restoran. Restoran adalah Perusahaan yang menghasilkan produk dan jasa yang akan diberikan kepada konsumennya. Semua produk dan jasa itu dilakukan dan diberikan oleh pelayan secara langsung kepada konsumennya sehingga restoran membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang cukup banyak untuk menjalankan Perusahaannya. Salah satu contoh restoran di Jakarta yang terkenal adalah Mama's German Restaurant yang terletak di Lippo Mall Puri, salah satu mall yang sangat ramai pengunjung. Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) merupakan elemen terpenting didalam suatu organisasi maupun Perusahaan karena semua kegiatan di dalam organisasi dijalankan dan dikerjakan oleh manusia sehingga sumber daya manusia ini perlu diatur sedemikian rupa agar dapat bekerja sesuai dengan tujuan dan nilai-nilai organisasi melalui manajemen sumber daya manusia. Setiap manusia tentu memiliki sifat dan perasaan yang berbeda, hal ini merupakan salah satu tantangan dalam menjalankan manajemen sumber daya manusia. Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengelola sumber daya manusia adalah dengan menerapkan program kompensasi. Program kompensasi akan menarik maupun mempertahankan sumber daya manusia (karyawan) yang berkualitas dalam organisasi. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh program kompensasi terhadap loyalitas karyawan Mama's German Restaurant. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan googleform. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan partial least square, model structural, Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah smart pls versi 3.0. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari kuesioner, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa program kompensasi mempengaruhi loyalitas karyawan. Jadi, Mama's German Restaurant telah melakukan program kompensasi dengan baik yang membuat loyalitas karyawan meningkat
