Lifecycle Design: A method for supporting design decision-making with LCA knowledge in an interdisciplinary research project

This paper presents interim progress of the HEREWEAR project in developing a method for designing out impacts as part of a collaborative and ongoing process between design researchers, commercial designers and environmental scientists. The aim is to support optimal and iterative decision making concerning materials and processes, acknowledging their high levels of uncertainty in relation to design choices.
