Prevalensi Dan Keberadaan Vektor Malaria Di Desa Teluk Limau, Kecamatan Jebus, Kabupaten Bangka Barat, Provinsi Bangka Belitung
. Malaria elimination in Indonesia need necessary data as a foundation for planning and implementation activities. The purpose of this study was to estimate the malaria prevalence and the presence of potential mosquito vectors. To find out malaria endemicity, blood of sampling group was examined in the study area on 24-30 November 2010. Suspected vector mosquitoes collection was carried out by human landing method on the inside and outside of the house for 12 hours from 18:00 until 06:00. Positive SD percentage from inspection reached 4.21% (18 of 428 SD). Gametocytes SD percentage reached 18.75%, where 3 of 18 positives SD has a gametocytes. Two mosquitoes Anopheles spp. found were an An. sundaicus and An. letifer. The number of An. sundaicus trapped outdoors were five, An. letifer trapped in the house were three and An. letifer trapped outdoors were eight. This result showed malaria transmission potential in the study site and malaria surveillance should be done. OM Theory and V-duality
We show that the (M5, M2, M2, MW) bound state solution of eleven
dimensional supergravity recently constructed in hep-th/0009147 is related to
the (M5, M2) bound state one by a finite Lorentz boost along a M5-brane
direction perpendicular to the M2-brane. Given the (M5, M2) bound state as a
defining system for OM theory and the above relation between this system and
the (M5, M2, M2', MW) bound state, we test the recently proposed V-duality
conjecture in OM theory. Insisting to have a decoupled OM theory, we find that
the allowed Lorentz boost has to be infinitesimally small, therefore resulting
in a family of OM theories related by Galilean boosts. We argue that such
related OM theories are equivalent to each other. In other words, V-duality
holds for OM theory as well. Upon compactification on either an electric or a
`magnetic' circle (plus T-dualities as well), the V-duality for OM theory gives
the known one for either noncommutative open string theories or noncommutative
Yang-Mills theories. This further implies that V-duality holds in general for

Acoustic Integrity Codes: Secure Device Pairing Using Short-Range Acoustic Communication
Secure Device Pairing (SDP) relies on an out-of-band channel to authenticate
devices. This requires a common hardware interface, which limits the use of
existing SDP systems. We propose to use short-range acoustic communication for
the initial pairing. Audio hardware is commonly available on existing
off-the-shelf devices and can be accessed from user space without requiring
firmware or hardware modifications. We improve upon previous approaches by
designing Acoustic Integrity Codes (AICs): a modulation scheme that provides
message authentication on the acoustic physical layer. We analyze their
security and demonstrate that we can defend against signal cancellation attacks
by designing signals with low autocorrelation. Our system can detect
overshadowing attacks using a ternary decision function with a threshold. In
our evaluation of this SDP scheme's security and robustness, we achieve a bit
error ratio below 0.1% for a net bit rate of 100 bps with a signal-to-noise
ratio (SNR) of 14 dB. Using our open-source proof-of-concept implementation on
Android smartphones, we demonstrate pairing between different smartphone

Magnetic moment and local moment alignment in anionic and/or oxidized Fen clusters
First principles studies on the ground statestructure, binding energy, spin multiplicity, and the noncollinearity of local spin moments in Fen and Fen− clusters and their oxides, viz., FenO2and FenO2− have been carried out within a density functional formalism. The ground states of Fen and Fen− clusters have collinear spins with a magnetic moment of around 3.0 μB per atom. The O2 molecule is found to be dissociatively absorbed and its most significant effect on spin occurs in Fe2, where Fe2O2 and Fe2O2− show antiferromagnetic and noncollinear spin arrangements, respectively. The calculated adiabatic electron affinity and the vertical transitions from the anion to the neutral species are found to be in good agreement with the available negative ion photodetachment spectra, providing support to the calculated ground states including the noncollinear ones
Exact Perturbations for inflation with smooth exit
Toy models for the Hubble rate or the scalar field potential have been used
to analyze the amplification of scalar perturbations through a smooth
transition from inflation to the radiation era. We use a Hubble rate that
arises consistently from a decaying vacuum cosmology, which evolves smoothly
from nearly de Sitter inflation to radiation domination. We find exact
solutions for super-horizon perturbations (scalar and tensor), and for
sub-horizon perturbations in the vacuum- and radiation-dominated eras. The
standard conserved quantity for super-horizon scalar perturbations is exactly
constant for growing modes, and zero for the decaying modes.Comment: Minor errors correcte
Assessment of creep and rupture behavior of 2.25Cr-1Mo steel – A strain-based approach and its limitation
Increasing demand of 2.25Cr-1Mo steel, among different grades of low alloy Cr-Mo steels, in power plants and petrochemical industries is mainly because of its high creep resistance. Application of a strain based approach for a reliable assessment of creep and rupture behavior is thus of great importance. Creep data were generated under different microstructural conditions in the laboratory and collected from literature as well. The influence of thermal ageing and pre-strain on the shape of creep curves has been studied. Analysis of data revealed that irrespective of initial microstructures, thermal ageing increases the tendency to soften but not the pre-strain. Softening due to carbide coarsening thus appears to be the dominant mechanism of creep. Based on this, a strain based approach for creep life assessment was developed. A fairly accurate prediction of creep life up to 5% creep is achieved using eight materials constants extracted from the creep curves of steel having similar initial microstructure. Lambda hyperonic effect on the normal driplines
A generalized mass formula is used to calculate the neutron and proton drip
lines of normal and lambda hypernuclei treating non-strange and strange nuclei
on the same footing. Calculations suggest existence of several bound
hypernuclei whose normal cores are unbound. Addition of Lambda or,
Lambda-Lambda hyperon(s) to a normal nucleus is found to cause shifts of the
