Non-Standard Errors

In statistics, samples are drawn from a population in a data-generating process (DGP). Standard errors measure the uncertainty in estimates of population parameters. In science, evidence is generated to test hypotheses in an evidence-generating process (EGP). We claim that EGP variation across researchers adds uncertainty: Non-standard errors (NSEs). We study NSEs by letting 164 teams test the same hypotheses on the same data. NSEs turn out to be sizable, but smaller for better reproducible or higher rated research. Adding peer-review stages reduces NSEs. We further find that this type of uncertainty is underestimated by participants

Praca zawiera procedurę budowy relacyjnego modelu procesu demontażu w systemie obsługi technicznej maszyn rolniczych. Zbudowany model opisuje strukturę i zasadnicze cechy rzeczywistego procesu demontażu. Stanowi on etap pośredni pomiędzy systemem rzeczywistym a jego algebraicznym modelem operacyjnym.The paper presents the procedure of developing the relational model of disassembling process in the system of technical service of agricultural machines. Developed model describes the structure and gives the principal characteristics of real disassembling process. This is an intermediate stage between the real system and its algebraic operating model

The technical service of agricultural machines

The technical service of agricultural machines also called maintanance changed during the last years. The existing structure was shut down and the new one is based on private craftman’workshop. They contrive better on the difficult market of technical services for agriculture. There are also many barriers in development of these workshops, the most important are: lack of well prepared craftsmen and technologists and modern technical equipments, absolete organization of technological processes and institutions. This sphere of technical services has a future in the infrastructure of a village. It assures unfailing realization of agricultural productive processes and will be a place of employment for graduates majoring in agricultural and forest technology.Obsługa techniczna maszyn rolniczych, zwana także serwisem technicznym lub utrzymywaniem, przeszła w ostatnich latach duże zmiany. Zlikwidowana została jej dotychczasowa struktura i w to miejsce powstaje nowa, którą stanowią zwykle prywatne zakłady rzemieślnicze. Radzą one sobie coraz lepiej na trudnym rynku usług technicznych dla rolnictwa. Jest też wiele barier w rozwoju tych zakładów, z których najważniejszymi są: brak dobrze przygotowanej kadry rzemieślników i technologów oraz nowoczesnego wyposażenia technicznego, przestarzała organizacja procesów technologicznych oraz samych zakładów. W pracy przedstawiono badania uszkodzeń nowoczesnych ciągników rolniczych w aspekcie ich niezawodności.The reliability of tractor is defined as the probability of his correct functioning in the determinate time and has a special significance in conditions of the seasonal production. The damages and waste are the factors influencing reliability of tractors and ability to carry out the work. The investigations of the damages of modern agricultural tractors were presented in this article, in the aspect of their reliability

Output parameters of the agricultural tractor diagnosis

Przeprowadzono badania diagnostyczne ciągników rolniczych dwóch marek, w celu porównania parametrów wyjściowych (informacji cząstkowych) niezbędnych do oceny ich stanu technicznego. Do badań wykorzystano dwa diagnostyczne programy komputerowe, kompatybilne z oprogramowaniem badanych ciągników. Wyniki badań będą podstawą do próby racjonalizacji liczby parametrów, która wskaże kierunek zmian w diagnostyce ciągników rolniczych.Diagnostic studies were performed with two brands of agricultural tractors in order to compare the output parameters (partial information) necessary to assess their condition. In the study two diagnostic programs were used which were compatible with a software of tractors. Rationalization of the parameters has been achieved which indicates the direction of changes in the diagnosis of machine and will contribute to reduce the cost of diagnostic tests
