Family history of Christoffer and Anne (1821-1893) Rud (spelled Ruud in Norway) whose children emigrated from Aurdal, Valdres, Norway and settled in Zumbrota, Minn., later moving to the Goose River Valley in N.D., and were followed by their parents. Includes mention of life in Norway, settling in Minnesota, meeting relatives and friends who settled in the Goose River Valley, church services in their cabin, marriages of their children, brief mention of snowstorms and prairie fires, and social events. Added 1996 photocopy of retyped text containing some corrections with map & photographs
