    THE INFLUENCE OF TASK BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING MOTIVATION TOWARD WRITING ACHIEVEMENT TO THE ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMK N 3 PALEMBANG

    This article was aimed to find out the significance average score and motivation between TBLT and Conventional Technique. Due the interpretation of this  study, it found that: (1) there was a significant difference in writing achievement between the student who taught by using TBLT and those are taught using conventional technique since it was  found  that the result was 0.00, (2) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have high motivation by using TBLT and conventional teaching technique since the result was 0.005, (3) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have low motivation by using TBLT and conventional teaching technique since the result was 0.002, (4) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have low and high motivation by using TBLT since the significant was lower 0.02, and (5) there was an interaction effect of technique used and student’s motivation in improving writing achievement since the result of interaction effect was lower 0.006. Based on the result, the writer concluded that the result of this research was lower than the level of significant level (0,05), and TBLT and motivation gave the significant influence for student’s  narrative writing achievement since there was a significant improvement before and after taught TBLT technique.Keywords: TBLT Technique, Motivation, and Writin

    Pengaruh Lama Penyimpanan dan Pengenceran Lindi Hitam Terhadap Karakteristik Lignin Kraft Acacia mangium

    This study aimed to investigate the effects of storage time and dilution of black liquor (BL) from Acacia mangium kraft pulping on the characteristics of isolated Lignin. Lignin isolation was carried out by 1 and 2 steps of isolation using HCL 1M to precipitate Lignin, diluted before isolation. Isolated Lignin was analyzed for its acid-soluble Lignin (ASL), insoluble acid lignin (AIL), functional groups by FTIR, solubility in dioxane and NaOH and thermal properties. The effect of BL storage time was also evaluated on the characteristics of the Lignin produced. The results suggest that the longer BL is stored, the higher the lignin yield. When compared to the isolation approach without dilution, the dilution process produced a higher yield and ash content up to 84% and 21%, respectively. Without dilution, the AIL isolated was lower than the dilution during BL storage. The longer the storage duration, the higher the lignin purity. Compared to two-step lignin isolation, dilution treatment in single-step isolation improves yield and purity. The thermal stability of lignin isolation without dilution (184 ⁰C and 167 ⁰C for 1 and 2 steps, respectively) was higher than that of isolated Lignin with dilution (154.8 ⁰C and 160.9 ⁰C for 1 and 2 steps, respectively), according to thermal study. Both lignin isolates with and without dilution have comparable functional groups, as shown by FTIR spectra. Due to the high yield and purity of isolated Lignin, BL dilution could be a viable alternative in lignin isolation from BL.     The purpose of this research was to find out the difference of IPS study result, interaction in SFAE learning model and TPS by seeing the initial ability. The Research method was quasi experiment by appraoching comparatively. This research was done in SMPN 10 Bandar Lampung with the population 340 students and 63 students as samples which were determined through cluster random sampling. Data analysis technique using t-Test formula and ANOVA manually and SPSS. The result of the analysis showed F count F table or 7.594 4.00 which means there is difference study result through SFAE learning model and TPS and F count F table or 38,855 4,00 which means there is a learning model interaction with initial ability. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS Terpadu, interaksi penggunaan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) dan Think Pair and Share (TPS) dengan memperhatikan kemampuan awal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan komparatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung dengan populasi sebanyak 340 siswa dengan sampel 63 siswa (2 kelas) yang ditentukan melalui Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus t – Test dan ANAVA menggunakan perhitungan manual dan SPSS.
