The semi-leptonic form factors of and in QCD sum rules
In this work, the full leading order results of the form factors for
and are obtained in QCD sum
rules. Contributions from up to dim-5 have been considered. For completeness,
we also study the two-point correlation function to obtain the pole residues of
and , and higher accuracy is achieved. For the
three-point correlation function, since stable Borel regions can not be found,
about uncertainties are introduced for the form factors of
and . Our results for the form
factors are consistent with those of the Lattice QCD within errors.Comment: 17 pages, 5 figure
Cancer-associated fibroblasts in hematologic malignancies: elucidating roles and spotlighting therapeutic targets
Hematologic malignancies comprise a diverse range of blood, bone marrow, and organ-related disorders that present significant challenges due to drug resistance, relapse, and treatment failure. Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) represent a critical component of the tumor microenvironment (TME) and have recently emerged as potential therapeutic targets. In this comprehensive review, we summarize the latest findings on the roles of CAFs in various hematologic malignancies, including acute leukemia, multiple myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and lymphoma. We also explore their involvement in tumor progression, drug resistance, and the various signaling pathways implicated in their activation and function. While the underlying mechanisms and the existence of multiple CAF subtypes pose challenges, targeting CAFs and their associated pathways offers a promising avenue for the development of innovative treatments to improve patient outcomes in hematologic malignancies
Manipulating Multiple Order Parameters via Oxygen Vacancies: The case of Eu0.5Ba0.5TiO3-{\delta}
Controlling functionalities, such as magnetism or ferroelectricity, by means
of oxygen vacancies (VO) is a key issue for the future development of
transition metal oxides. Progress in this field is currently addressed through
VO variations and their impact on mainly one order parameter. Here we reveal a
new mechanism for tuning both magnetism and ferroelectricity simultaneously by
using VO. Combined experimental and density-functional theory studies of
Eu0.5Ba0.5TiO3-{\delta}, we demonstrate that oxygen vacancies create Ti3+ 3d1
defect states, mediating the ferromagnetic coupling between the localized Eu
4f7 spins, and increase an off-center displacement of Ti ions, enhancing the
ferroelectric Curie temperature. The dual function of Ti sites also promises a
magnetoelectric coupling in the Eu0.5Ba0.5TiO3-{\delta}.Comment: Accepted by Physical Review B, 201
On-chip black hole: Hawking radiation and curved spacetime in a superconducting quantum circuit with tunable couplers
Hawking radiation is one of quantum features of a black hole, which can be
understood as a quantum tunneling across the event horizon of the black hole,
but it is quite difficult to directly observe the Hawking radiation of an
astrophysical black hole. Remarkable experiments of analogue black holes on
various platforms have been performed. However, Hawking radiation and its
quantum nature such as entanglement have not been well tested due to the
experimental challenges in accurately constructing curved spacetime and
precisely measuring the thermal spectrum. Based on the recent architecture
breakthrough of tunable couplers for superconducting processor, we realize
experimentally an analogue black hole using our new developed chip with a chain
of 10 superconducting transmon qubits with interactions mediated by 9
transmon-type tunable couplers. By developing efficient techniques to engineer
the couplings between qubits via tuning couplers, we realize both the flat and
curved spacetime backgrounds. The quantum walks of quasi-particle in the curved
spacetime reflect the gravitational effect around the black hole, resulting in
the behavior of Hawking radiation. By virtue of the state tomography
measurement of all 7 qubits outside the analogue event horizon, we show that
Hawking radiation can be verified. In addition, an entangled pair is prepared
inside the horizon and the dynamics of entanglement in the curved spacetime is
directly measured. Our results would stimulate more interests to explore
information paradox, entropy and other related features of black holes using
programmable superconducting processor with tunable couplers.Comment: modified manuscripts, 7 pages, 4 figures (main text) + 12 pages

Characterization of Structure and Antioxidant Activity of Polysaccharides From Sesame Seed Hull
Sesame seed hull is the major by-product of sesame seed processing and is rich in polysaccharides. In this work, sesame hull polysaccharides (SHP) were extracted by ultrasound-assisted alkali extraction methods with a yield of 6.49%. Three purified polysaccharide fractions were obtained after decolorization, deproteinization, and column chromatography. Then, their main composition and antioxidant activity were investigated. The dominant fraction was SHP-2 with a yield of 3.78%. It was composed of galacturonic acid (51.3%), glucuronic acid (13.8%), rhamnose (8.9%), glucose (8.4%), and others. The linkage types of SHP-2 have the α-D-GalpA-(1,4)-linked, α-D-GlcpA-(1,2)-linked, β-T-D-Rhap-linked, β-D-Glcp-(1,6)-linked, β-T-D-Galp-linked, α-L-Xylp-(1,4)-linked, α-L-Araf-(1,3,5)-linked, and β-D-Manp-(1,4)-linked. This study might provide some useful basic data for developing applications for sesame seed hull polysaccharides in the food and pharmaceutical industries
