    Peningkatan Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Melalui Pre Lecture Quiz   Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan  peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa melalui  penerapan pre lecture quiz.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling, dan diperoleh kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen serta kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol.    Analisis data ketrampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai pretes dan postes.  Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis, dengan menghitung n-Gain. Hasil perhitungan, diperoleh rata-rata n-Gain keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada kelas eksperimen memiliki kriteria “tinggi”, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol memiliki kriteria “sedang”. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi larutan penyangga dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan pre lecture quiz.

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas discovery learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir elaborasi dan penguasaan konsep elektrolisis siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling, diperoleh kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran pada Kelas eksperimen dilaksanakan dengan discovery learning dan kelas kontrol digunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Peningkatan Ketrampilan Berfikir Elaborasi dan Penguasaan Konsep Elektrolisis Siswa diperlihatkan dari perbedaan nilai rata-rata n-Gain yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil perhitungan dan analisis data, diperoleh nilai rata-rata n-Gain kelas eksperimen untuk kemampuan elaborasi dan penguasaan konsep elektrolisis siswa berkatagori tinggi dan mempunyai ukuran pengaruh yang besar. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu peningkatkan keterampilan berpikir elaborasi dan penguasaan konsep  elektrolisis siswa efektif dilakukan dengan discovery learning. &nbsp

    Efektivitas Model POGIL untuk Meningkatkan Self Confidence dan Penguasaan Konsep Larutan Penyangga Peserta Didik

    This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the POGIL model to increase students' self-confidence and mastery of the buffer solution concept. The research sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique, obtained class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class and XI IPA 4 as the control class. This study used a quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The POGIL model is said to be effective if it shows a significant difference in the value of n-Gain self confidence and students' mastery of concepts between the experimental class and the control class.     Implementation of PBL-based Audiovisual Media to improve Students' Critical Thinking Ability

    Abstract Implementasi Media Audiovisual berbasis PBL untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa: This implementation research is to find out the audiovisual media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in improving students' critical thinking skills. The method used was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The research population was all students of class XI MIPA, one of the senior high schools in Bandar Lampung. The sample was obtained by purposive sampling technique, namely class A as the experimental class (learning using PBL-based audiovisual media) and class B as the control class (learning using conventional media). The application of PBL-based audiovisual media is measured by the difference in the average value of n-Gain which is significant on students' critical thinking skills, both in the experimental class and the control class. The results of the calculation of the difference test obtained that the average n-Gain value of students' critical thinking abilities in the experimental class was greater than in the control class. The resulting effect size calculation can be interpreted as learning with PBL-based audiovisual media has an effect on increasing students' critical thinking skills on redox material, by 81%. The conclusion is that the application of PBL-based audiovisual media has an effect and is effective on increasing students' critical thinking skills.     The Effectiveness of Using Problem Based Learning through Audio Visual Media to Improve Students’ Critical Thinking in Colloidal Material

    This research aims to the effectiveness of using audio-visual media based on problem-based learning to improve students' critical thinking ability on colloidal material course. The population of this research is XI MIPA students at SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung. The sample of this research is XI MIPA 6 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 4 as the control class. In this research, the method used is quasi experiment with the pretest-posttest control group design. The effectiveness of using problem based learning through audio visual media to improve students' critical thinking ability on colloidal materials is measured by the significant average of the n-Gain score between experiment and control class. The result shows that the n-Gain score of students’ critical thinking in the experimental class is 0.81 that is categorized “high”, and for the control class is 0.63 that is categorized “medium”. The effect size test results show that problem based learning through audio visual media has a "big" impact in improving students' critical thinking ability on colloidal materials. Based on these results, it can be concluded that problem based learning through audio visual media has a positive impact and effective in improving students' critical thinking ability on colloidal materials

    PENERAPAN DISCOVERY LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR ELABORASI PADA MATERI LARUTAN PENYANGGA

    This research was aimed to describe the practicality, effectiveness, and effect size of discovery learning model to improve the students elaboration thinking skill on buffer solution topics. This research used poor experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of the research was class XI MIPA 2 of SMAN 1 Gedong Tataan which was taken by cluster random sampling. Practicality was measured by implementation of discovery learning model and students response. Effectiveness was measured by basis of teacher ability, students activity, and the students elaboration thinking skill and effect size measurement. The results showed that discovery learning model practice, effective, and has big effect size to improve the students elaboration thinking skill on buffer solution topics.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan, keefektivan dan ukuran pengaruh model discovery learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir elaborasi peserta didik pada materi larutan larutan penyangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode poor experimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Gedong Tataan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Kepraktisan ditentukan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan model discovery learning dan respon peserta didik. Keefektivan ditentukan berdasarkan kemampuan guru, aktivitas peserta didik, dan kemampuan berpikir elaborasi peserta didik dan uji ukuran pengaruh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning praktis, efektif, dan memiliki pengaruh yang besar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir elaborasi pada materi larutan penyagga.Kata kunci: discovery learning, keterampilan berpikir elaborasi, larutan penyangg
