    New venture resources, international entrepreneurial capability and performance of Malaysian Halal international new ventures

    In globalisation of business, International Entrepreneurial Capability (IEC) has become an essential requirement for internationalisation and competition of firms in global markets. Globalisation has created a new and dynamic world economy and the International New Ventures (INVs) phenomenon. However, there is little knowledge about its significant role in International Performance (IP), while the literature depicts a few investigations in new venture resources and IP from the perspective of IEC. Hence, the general objective of the study is to examine and identify the relationship between new venture resources and IP through IEC. The research questions of this study are in line of determining whether the associations between new venture resources and IP are significant through the IEC. This study adopts a mixed method through sequential explanatory design in order to answer the research questions.The sampling design in quantitative used probability approach which involves simple random sampling, while the qualitative part utilised non-probability by purposeful approach. Samples of 220 respondents from companies of Halal Malaysian INVs have been selected as sample. The data were analysed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS (ver.16.0) and SPSS software. It can be concluded that, Technological Knowledge (TK) and Managerial Knowledge (MK) as new venture resources directly influencing IP. Managers should be concerned with the quality of procedures using TK and MK by choosing the necessary strategies. Accordingly, Malaysian Halal INVs are predicted to find better opportunities and ways to improve their IPs. In this vein, IP has been affected by International Marketing Capability (IMC), Innovation and Risk-taking Capability (IRC), and new venture resources (TK and MK), while International Networking Capability (INC) has not provided the mediation role in the relationship between new venture resources and IP. In addition, the qualitative results of the study confirm the majority of outcomes in quantitative phase of the study. By considering the results of this research, the researcher believes that managers of INVs should pay more precise attention to the significant role of IEC in the relationship between new venture resources and international performance, because of productive presence in the global markets

    Halal International New Ventures (INVs) as a special case of SMEs internationalization

    With the globalization of business, Internationalization of SMEs has become an essential requirement for competing in global markets. Globalization created a new and dynamic world economy and the “International New Ventures” (INVs) phenomenon as especial cases of SMEs internationalization.However, very little is known about INVs and their significant role of them in international business performance.In addition, the literature is depicted few investigations in Malaysian international new ventures from the perspective of SMEs internationalization.Therefore, the general objective of this study is to introduce Halal International New Ventures (INVs) and the effective role of them in Malaysian international business performance as SMEs internationalization. To achieve the objectives of the study is made possible through discussion on the conceptualization and definition of INVs, history and the globalization of Halal, Halal SMEs internationalization and serious challenges that are faced in international markets.The study is concluded that Halal INVs can have the significant role in achieving the national goals as SMEs internationalization.Consequently, it is also given an instruction to the managers of INVs through supplying valuable perceptions into how they can deal with dynamic global marketplaces. Vision and strategy are provided to the policy makers in planning to overcome the shortages of developing exports

    The choice of technological knowledge with innovation & risk- taking capability is a significant strategic decision for the success of international new ventures (INVs) performance. Therefore, this study’s aim is to offer a new construct, build up the conception model ” technological knowledge- innovation & risk- taking capability- international new venture’s performance”. And to examine how technology knowledge and innovation & risk- taking capability of international new venture’s (INVs) firms help to them in the development of international performance. Based on the literature of the investigation, it exhibits the theoretical supporting for positive connections between variables in the proposed model. Therefore, the study will use a mix-method approach to sequential explanatory design for testing the hypotheses. An email survey instrument would be utilized for data collation. The sample of the investigation is Malaysian international new venture firms that consist of products and services. It is expected to contribute to knowledge as a resource and international entrepreneurship by illustration a model of technological knowledge, Innovation & Risk- taking Capability and international performance
