Modeliranje ravnoteže kapljevina-kapljevina u kvazi-sedmerokomponentnim sustavima s niskotemperaturnim eutektiÄkim otapalima kao ekstrakcijskim sredstvima
Liquid-liquid equilibria were experimentally investigated in systems in which the first component was aliphatic (n-hexane, n-heptane or i-octane) or aromatic hydrocarbon (toluene), the second component was pyridine or thiophene, and the third quasi-component was DES consisting of choline chloride and glycerol or choline chloride and ethylene glycol, at 25 Ā°C and atmospheric pressure. The equilibria were successfully described by the NRTL and UNIQUAC models. The same models were successfully applied to describe the liquid-liquid equilibria in quasi-seven-component systems that comprised all the mentioned low molecular weight components and one DES. The restrictions of the models were discussed; it seems that the preference can be given to the UNIQUAC model.

Ravnoteže su uspjeÅ”no opisane modelima NRTL i UNIQUAC. Isti su modeli uspjeÅ”no primijenjeni i za opis ravnoteža kapljevina-kapljevina i u kvazi-sedmerokomponentnim sustavima koji ukljuÄuju sve navedene niskomolekulske komponente i jedan DES. Raspravljena su ograniÄenja modela; Äini se da se prednost može dati modelu UNIQUAC.

U odjeljku o polimernim otopinama i amorfnim polimernim tvarima razmatraju se opÄe i termodinamiÄko nazivlje, razrijeÄene otopine, fazno ponaÅ”anje, transportna svojstva, metode rasprÅ”enja svjetlosti i separacijske metode. Preporuke su revizija i proÅ”irenje nazivlja IUPAC-a objavljenog 1989., koje se ticalo pojedinaÄnih makromolekula, makromolekulskih nakupina i razrijeÄenih polimernih otopina. Uvedeni su novi nazivi koji pokrivaju glavna teorijska i eksperimentalna saznanja do kojih se u meÄuvremenu doÅ”lo. Polielektroliti nisu ukljuÄeni.

The recommendations are a revision and expansion of the IUPAC terminology published in 1989 dealing with individual macromolecules, macromolecular assemblies, and dilute polymer solutions. New terms covering the principal theoretical and experimental developments that have occurred over the intervening years have been introduced. Polyelectrolytes are not included.
