Gravastars and Black Holes of Anisotropic Dark Energy
Dynamical models of prototype gravastars made of anisotropic dark energy are
constructed, in which an infinitely thin spherical shell of a perfect fluid
with the equation of state divides the whole spacetime
into two regions, the internal region filled with a dark energy fluid, and the
external Schwarzschild region. The models represent "bounded excursion" stable
gravastars, where the thin shell is oscillating between two finite radii, while
in other cases they collapse until the formation of black holes. Here we show,
for the first time in the literature, a model of gravastar and formation of
black hole with both interior and thin shell constituted exclusively of dark
energy. Besides, the sign of the parameter of anisotropy () seems to
be relevant to the gravastar formation. The formation is favored when the
tangential pressure is greater than the radial pressure, at least in the
neighborhood of the isotropic case ().Comment: 16 pages, 8 figures. Accepted for publication in Gen. Rel. Gra
Electromagnetic Fields of Slowly Rotating Magnetized Gravastars
We study the dipolar magnetic field configuration and present solutions of
Maxwell equations in the internal background spacetime of a a slowly rotating
gravastar. The shell of gravastar where magnetic field penetrated is modeled as
sphere consisting of perfect highly magnetized fluid with infinite
conductivity. Dipolar magnetic field of the gravastar is produced by a circular
current loop symmetrically placed at radius at the equatorial plane.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures, accepted for publication to Mod. Phys. Lett.
The Construction of Quantum Field Operators: Something of Interest
We draw attention to some tune problems in constructions of the quantum-field
operators for spins 1/2 and 1. They are related to the existence of
negative-energy and acausal solutions of relativistic wave equations.
Particular attention is paid to the chiral theories, and to the method of the
Lorentz boosts.Comment: 31 pages, no figures. The invited talk at the VIII International

Effective Monopoles within Thick Branes
The monopole mass is revealed to be considerably modified in the thick
braneworld paradigm, and depends on the position of the monopole in the brane
as well. Accordingly, the monopole radius continuously increases, leading to an
unacceptable setting that can be circumvented when the brane thickness has an
upper limit. Despite such peculiar behavior, the quantum corrections accrued --
involving the classical monopole solution -- are shown to be still under
control. We analyze the monopole's peculiarities also taking into account the
localization of the gauge fields. Furthermore, some additional analysis in the
thick braneworld context and the similar behavior evinced by the topological
string are investigated.Comment: 7 pages, 1 figur
Adaptação metodológica de citogenética pra minhocas.
