Conference of World Conference: TRIZ FUTURE 2011-2014 ; Conference Date: 29 October 2014 Through 31 October 2014; Conference Code:119545International audienceAdopting relevant decisions in engineering design of multidisciplinary problematic is often perceived as a critical issue in industry. This situation becomes even more critical when in inventive design context since decisions lead R&D teams towards unusual directions that, by nature, expose the company to risky investments. IDM-TRIZ is an advanced framework proposed to address the issue of representing multidisciplinary and complex situations to facilitate TRIZ use in inventive design projects. One of its tool "problem graph" has been designed to link expert knowledge representations and automatic extraction of populations of contradictions. This first step nevertheless presents a limitation; it doesn't help project leaders to properly estimate the incidences of their decisions when engaging inventive activities to solve a specific problem. This paper addresses this issue and proposes an enhanced methodological process that is handling dynamic multiple graphical representations based on computed project data's exploitation. It provides relevant proofs that, in comparison with a traditional TRIZ approach, we have significantly improved the robustness of R&D decisions. In addition, we illustrate our methodology using a case study conducted in airspace industry (helicopter assembly complexity) to present and validate our hypothesis

This study aims to determine the presence of Salmonella sp. in Yelowfin Tuna (Thunnus Albacores) in Gorontalo City markets. Total Plate Count (TPC) and Salmonella sp. tests were conducted. The results showed that fresh tuna samples were contaminated with microbes with the highest amount of 3X106 CFU/g therefore failed to meet the Indonesian National Standard of fresh fish (2729-2013). Samples of loin and sauteed tuna were negative from Salmonella sp., while fresh tuna samples were positive. Katakunci: Salmonella sp.; Yellowfin Tuna; Thunnus albacores; mikroba; TPC. Keywords: Salmonella sp.; Yellowfin Tuna; Thunnus albacores; microbes; TPC

Robotics force feedback technologies provide the feeling of directly holding remote instruments. This is true in nuclear applications where remote operations are required due to the hazardous environment. This is also true in surgery applications, in particular in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), when organs cannot be accessed directly. During surgery procedures, the surgeon should have the feeling in his hands of holding directly the surgical instruments interacting with the patient. Both applications emphasize therefore same type of needs for high performance force feedback Mechatronic components. We aim therefore benefits from research and development results from the field of Mechatronics for Telerobotics to provide good basis for improvement in medical technology. Many similarities could also be pointed out with various other applications requiring force feedback features for gesture guidance or training: medical learning course with help of haptic and virtual reality technologies, kinaesthetic and physical assist device for rehabilitation, aged people or disable people. 1

Conference of 2017 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics, AIM 2017 ; Conference Date: 3 July 2017 Through 7 July 2017; Conference Code:130095International audienceInflatable manipulators open new trends in robotic applications. In this paper, a new inflatable actuator to articulate a long-range inflatable robotic arm, is presented. Completely made of high strength fabric, its low mass leads to large force-weight ratios and a stroke almost equal to twice its overall length. The operation principle, as well as the relations among the displacement, the pressure and force, are described in this paper. The analysis is under validation through a finite elements simulation and a test on a prototype
