Plan de contingencia post COVID-19 para la sustentabilidad de la cooperativa de ahorro y crédito La Merced

El trabajo de investigación previo a la obtención del título Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, tuvo como objetivo la creación de un Plan de Contingencia el cual contiene un conjunto de estrategias que buscan mantener la sustentabilidad de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito La Merced, siendo elaborado en su totalidad en la ciudad de Macas, provincia de Morona Santiago, que es la ciudad que alberga a dicha institución financiera, Por lo tanto, la metodología de investigación que se implementó se basó: en un enfoque cualitativo, exploratorio y descriptivo, a fin de evaluar y describir las características y elementos necesarios para la elaboración del Plan de Contingencia , las mismas que podrán ser cuantificables a través de herramientas y técnicas de investigación de campo, dicha investigación se enfocó en diferentes áreas de estudio, a las mismas que fueron aplicadas encuestas, tanto al personal administrativo como a sus socios, incluyendo también una entrevista realizada a la gerente de la institución. Este plan de contingencia se centra en mejorar la capacidad que ha tenido la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito La Merced para hacerle frente a la situación actual de la pandemia ocasionada por la covid-19, que ha afectado mucho a sus socios, este conjunto de estrategias busca mejorar la imagen de la institución con sus socios, haciéndoles tener en cuenta que la institución se preocupa por la salud de los mismos y que tienen maneras de proteger su seguridad, evitando posibles contagios en socios y funcionarios de la institución. Este plan de contingencia aplicado adecuadamente permitirá a la institución financiera actuar de manera pertinente conforme a lo que dictaminan los organismos de salud del país frente a la pandemia actual que atraviesa el mundoThis study prior to obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration aimed to create a contingency plan with a set of strategies that seek to maintain the sustainability of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito La Merced, prepared entirely in Macas city, province of Morona Santiago which is the place where this financial institution is headquartered. Therefore, the research methodology that was implemented was based on a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach, in order to to evaluate and describe the characteristics and elements needed for the development of the contingency plan, which may be quantifiable through field research tools and techniques. This research was focused on different study areas by applying surveys for both to administrative staff and their partners, also including an interview applied to the manager of the institution. This contingency plan focuses on improving the capacity that the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito La Merced has faced during the current situation caused by covid-19 which has affected its members. This set of strategies seeks to improve the institutional image with its associates, making them notice that the institution cares about their health and that they have alternatives to protect their safety, avoiding possible infections in the institution. If this contingency plan was properly applied, it will allow the financial institution to act in accordance with the rules dictated by the national health agencies to face the current pandemic that the world is going throug
