Culturally Diverse Materials for Oral Storytelling and Literacy

These stories were audio-taped, transcribed and analyzed for length, cohesion, sequencing, story grammar elements, and linguistic commplexity. The stories were then compared to normative data for stories told by individuals from European descent.
