Infrastructure Control & Automation System (ICAS): An IOT based Home Automation
The Infrastructure Control and Automation System (ICAS) is that solution which is a counterpart of the existing conventional systems for managing the basic amenities of any infrastructure. Be it a home where the system can control any number of appliances using a wireless handheld interface for the whole infrastructure, and also gives an ease to installing any number of new devices/appliances/sensors to the existing structure with simplicity due to its modular and plug and play design. And also now you home will feel alive as each and every small section of it is linked together with an interactive interface that also suggests ways to achieve the proper energy management and also provides results on the basis of real time usage analysis and other information such as faults and inefficiencies
Brain Alzheimer’s disease Detection in Magnetic Resonance Images Using Image Processing
Alzheimer Disease is a chronic neurodegenerative disease and genetic disease that harm the brain nerve cells and tissue loss throughout the brain which causes loss of memory and thinking ability and change in its behavior. In this paper we determine early detection of Alzheimer disease through image processing on Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) and classification of MRI of brain based on extraction of different features. The paper manifest the application of several image processing technique such as Otsu’s Thresholding and Hidden Markov Random field model (HMRF-EM) and expectation maximization. The feature use for this project acquire from grey Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) such us Entropy, Homogeneity and Correlation and also the volume ratio of grey matter and white matter to cerebrospinal fluid. This project design in software MATLAB for early detection of Alzheimer disease
Innovation in Repackaging Can Change the Whole Perception on the Product
The objective of this study is to determine whether innovation in repackaging changes the consumer perception about the product. Repackaging is analyzed through Change in Color, Change in Background Image, Innovation, Change in Quality, and Change in Size. A sample of 300 respondents has been collected through questionnaire and tested for reliability of the model. According to the finding of the research study, it has been observed that the repackaging is the most important factor by which a product perception can be changed easily in the mind of consumers It is further concluded that the repackaging elements like its color, Packaging Quality, back ground image of wrapper, and innovation are more important factors when building or changing the existing perception of product. The results have also revealed that changing size of packaging can negatively influence on customer’s perception. Finally, it has also been concluded that the Repackaging is one of the most important and powerful factor, which influences the change in consumer’s perception Keywords: Repackaging, Reliability, Innovation, Product perception, Packaging quality, Customer perception. Impact of External Communication on Internal Brand Management Outcomes Using Employees as a Second Audience: A Comparative Analysis of Manufacturing and Service Sectors of Pakistan
This study investigated the effect of External Brand Communications on internal brand management practices using brand commitment and brand understanding as factors determining the phenomenon and subsequently analyzing the effect of both internal and external factors on brand citizenship behavior. A sample size of 300 respondents was selected from manufacturing and service oriented companies and the effects were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. It was found that there is significant and positive influence of brand understanding in determination of brand citizenship behavior and reflected mediating role of external communication congruence. Furthermore, it has also found that internal brand management practices are more evident in case of manufacturing firm i.e. a reputed Biscuits Manufacturing Company as compare to financial firm i.e. a renowned Private Limited Bank. It reveals necessity of work required in case of Private Limited Bank to work on external communication practices and integrate it with internal brand management practices to increase its role in determination of employee behavior and their role in propagating brand image as second audience
Experimental Study of Physical, Fresh-State and Strength Parameters of Concrete incorporating Wood Waste Ash as a Cementitious Material
The increasing demand and production of cement have caused a huge environmental burden and thus researchers are involved in discovering waste materials having cementitious properties to reduce the production and usage of cement in order to contribute towards the development of a sustainable environment. The present study, therefore, sought to quantify the influence of wood waste ash (WWA) as a cementitious resource on the fresh-state, physical, and strength parameters of concrete. The water absorption, workability, density, compression strength, tensile strength, and flexural strength of concrete was checked at various replacement levels i.e. 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% by weight fraction of cement. The density and water absorption were checked on the 28th day of curing while the strength parameters were tested at 7, 28, 56, and 90 days of curing period. The water absorption, density, and workability of concrete reduced with an increase in wood waste ash content while the strength values were increased up to 10% replacement level. Hence, this study suggests that 10% WWA can be used instead of cement for concrete structures

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF COVID-19 VACCINATIONS: KARACHI AS A CASE STUDY
The entire world has started to vaccinate their respective countries' citizens to get rid of COVID-19 from their country. Likewise other countries, Pakistan has also started the vaccination process for its citizens and unlike the rest of the world, there have been different types of vaccines in Pakistan with different manufacturers and with different immunity booster levels. Through statistical analysis of vaccination in this research paper, we have tried to understand the diverse level of vaccines in Karachi and tried to get an understanding of the vaccination process happening in Karachi. For this kind of research, we have maintained the questionnaire and spread it through emails, WhatsApp, and Facebook. The questionnaire was sent to about 500 people from July to August 2021. The results obtained depict the satisfaction of the vaccination process with normal side effects. Unlike other countries, Pakistan is among the countries where the mass vaccination process has always been very difficult to conduct. Further using the data of seven stations for prediction purposes Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) models were constructed. A better future trend analysis of COVID-19 can be observed using these constructed models. The data for the time series modeling from, 1st January 2021 to 25 August 2021, was taken from National Command and Control (NCOC) Pakistan
Poly[(μ5-2-methyl-3,5-dinitrobenzoato)sodium]
In the crystal of the title coordination polymer, [Na(C8H5N2O6)]n, the Na(I) ion is linked to five nearby anions. Their bonding modes are three monodentate carboxylate O atoms, one O,O′-bidentate carboxylate group and one O,O′-bidentate nitro group. This results in an irregular NaO7 coordination geometry for the metal ion. This connectivity leads to a layered network propagating in (100)
Determination of toxic metals in water of lahor canal by atomic absorption spectroscopy
Present study describes the atomic absorption spectro-photometric determination of metals (Ni, Cr, Zn, Fe, As and Cu) in the surface water of Lahore canal passing through the center of Lahore (city) Pakistan. Analysis showed that month wise average Ni, Zn and As concentrations lies within the National Environmental Quality Standards limits for these metals as designed by Environmental Protection Agency Pakistan, while Cr, Fe and Cu showed marked rise in their month wise average concentrations from their limiting values
catena-Poly[[(2-methylbenzoato-κ2 O,O′)sodium]-di-μ-aqua-κ4 O:O′]
In the title coordination polymer, [Na(C8H7O2)(H2O)2]n, the cation is chelated by the carboxylate O atoms of the anion in a bidentate mode and is surrounded by the O atoms of four water molecules. The coordination of the Na+ cation is distorted octahedral. The water molecules bridge adjacent metal cations, forming polymeric layers parallel to (100). The structure is stabilized by an extensive network of O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds
