Quillen-Suslin theory for a structure theorem for the Elementary Symplectic Group
A new set of elementary symplectic elements is described, It is shown that
these also generate the elementary symplectic group {\rm ESp}. These
generators are more symmetrical than the usual ones, and are useful to study
the action of the elementary symplectic group on unimodular rows. Also, an
alternate proof of, {\rm ESp} is a normal subgroup of {\rm
Sp}, is shown using the Local Global Principle of D. Quillen for the
new set of generators.Comment: 14 pages, few typos corrected. To appear in Ramanujan Math. Soc.

Charged lepton distributions as a probe of contact e+e-HZ interactions at a linear collider with polarized beams
We examine very general four-point interactions arising from new physics and
contributing to the Higgs production process e+e- -> HZ. We write all possible
forms for these interactions consistent with Lorentz invariance. We allow the
possibility of CP violation. Contributions to the process from anomalous ZZH
and gamma ZH interactions studied earlier arise as a special case of our
four-point amplitude. We consider the decay of Z into a charged lepton pair and
obtain expressions for angular distributions of charged leptons arising from
the interference of the four-point contribution with the standard-model
contribution. We take into account possible longitudinal or transverse beam
polarization likely to be available at a linear collider. We examine several
correlations which can be used to study the various form factors present in the
e+e-HZ contact interactions. We also obtain the sensitivity of these
correlations in constraining the new-physics interactions at a linear collider
operating at a centre-of-mass energy of 500 GeV with longitudinal or transverse
polarization.Comment: 29 pages, Latex, figures included in submission, references added in

Lam'e Instantons
We perform a precise analytic test of the instanton approximation by
comparing the exact band spectrum of the periodic Lam\'e potential to the
tight-binding, instanton and WKB approximations. The instanton result gives the
correct leading behavior in the semiclassical limit, while the tight-binding
approximation does even better. WKB is off by an overall factor of

Studying the effects of minimal length in large extra dimensional models in the jet + missing energy channels at hadron colliders
Theories of quantum gravity suggest the existence of a minimal length scale.
We study the consequences of a particular implementation of the idea of a
minimal length scale in the model of large extra dimensions, the ADD model. To
do this we have looked at real graviton production in association with a jet at
hadron colliders. In the minimal length scenario, the bounds on the effective
string scale are significantly less stringent than those derived in the
conventional ADD model, both at the upgraded Tevatron and at the Large Hadron
Collider.Comment: Latex, 9 pages, 4 PS figs; final version to appear in Eur Phys J
Peduncle inheritance behavior in Antheraea mylitta. D. - An interesting observation
In eco-racial hybridization of Antheraea mylitta D.( Raily X Daba ) the occurrence of long peduncle with two and more rings were found to be an interesting observation against Daba cultivar. Preliminary studies indicate to incorporate the peduncle structure in breeding programs apart from investigating its impact on physiological behavior of the insect
