This article deals with the potential application of CISG on international supply of services by emphasising the theoretical and practical rationales. It takes on a different approach than the existing literature on the topic by not focusing upon the suitability of CISG on supply but rather by undertaking comparative analysis of domestic legal systems in their attempt to grapple with the distinction between sales and services, and by providing an account of how the most contentious provisions of the CISG can be applied to service contracts
