    I would like to welcome you to this edition of the Clarion Business Review. This issue is devoted entirely to articles submitted by students who have since graduated from Clarion University with a Masters of Business Administration. Each article was written while the authors were business graduate students at Clarion University and this issue of the Clarion Business Review serves as a forum for their work and as a tribute to the dedication of the graduate faculty members in the College of Business Administration at Clarion University. Each article explores advanced business topics relevant to the current business environment of western Pennsylvania and the nation. Before providing a brief introduction of each article, I want to take this opportunity to inform readers that this journal will formally change its name to the Clarion Business and Economic Review as of the spring 2003 issue for several reasons. First and foremost, the next issue will begin to publish various quantitative measures and forecasts related to the Pennsylvania economy (with particular emphasis placed on the northwestern Pennsylvania region).
