Diodrast clearance values reported in the liter-ature have been calculated partly on constant and partly on rising or falling plasma concentrations. However, we have observed unexpectedly low clearance values on rapidly falling concentration, and as far as we know this phenomenon has not been reported before. Published values of the diodrast clearance in normal subjects differ with the different tech-niques applied, and these differences may be ex-plained in part, on the basis of our observations. By analyzing White, Findley and Edwards ' (1) results we see that in the subjects where continu-ous infusion was applied, the average diodrast clearance was 517 ml./min., while in the subject
