Interplay between superconductivity and magnetism in various superconducting/ferromagnetic multilayers
\u3cp\u3eIn superconducting/ferromagnetic (S/F) multilayers, the strong pair breaking in the F layers has a pronounced influence on the superconductivity in the S layers. This can be seen in a strong decrease of T\u3csub\u3ec\u3c/sub\u3e with decreasing S layer thickness, which leads to a critical thickness d\u3csub\u3ecr\u3c/sub\u3e for the occurrence of superconductivity. By combining V with Fe, Co, Ni, and the ferromagnetic alloys V\u3csub\u3e0.50\u3c/sub\u3eFe\u3csub\u3e0.50\u3c/sub\u3e and V\u3csub\u3e0.65\u3c/sub\u3eFe\u3csub\u3e0.35\u3c/sub\u3e, we show that d\u3csub\u3ecr\u3c/sub\u3e is not simply correlated with the magnitude of the magnetic moments.\u3c/p\u3
