Investigations on resistance of forest trees to diseases

В начале статьи представлено в очень обобщенном и сокращенном виде быстрое актуальное развитие биологических исследований по устойчивости лесных деревьев к биотическим и абиотическим факторам. Описывается настоящая организационная структура отдела устойчивости деревьев Института дендрологии П. А. Н. в Курнике, а также развитие научных кадров в последнее время. В большом сокращении представлены важнейшие достижения работников отдела в области устойчивости тополи и сосны обыкновенной пораженных грозными болезнями,ограничивающими в значительной степени возделывание этих видов деревьев.The present quick development of biological investigations on the resistance of forest trees to biotic and abiotic factors is presented at the beginning of the paper in a very general and shortened form. The present organizational structure of the Department of Tree Resistance, Institute of Dendrology at Kórnik, and the development of scientific staff in the recent years are outlined. Some important achievements of research workers of the Department concerning resistance of poplar and Scotch pine infested with various diseases, resulting in considerable limitation of the culture of trese tree species are presented in short
