One of the most exciting areas of computer science right now is brain-computer interface (BCI) research. A conduit for data flow between both the brain as well as an electronic device is the brain-computer interface (BCI). Researchers in several disciplines have benefited from the advancements made possible by brain-computer interfaces. Primary fields of study include healthcare and neuroergonomics. Brain signals could be used in a variety of ways to improve healthcare at every stage, from diagnosis to rehabilitation to eventual restoration. In this research, we demonstrate how to classify EEG signals of brain waves using machine learning algorithms for predicting mental health states. The XGBoost algorithm's results have an accuracy of 99.62%, which is higher than that of any other study of its kind and the best result to date for diagnosing people's mental states from their EEG signals. This discovery will aid in taking efforts [1] to predict mental state using EEG signals to the next level

Direct observation of 4+ to 2+ gamma transition in 8Be

The low lying states in 8^8Be are believed to have a two-alpha cluster structure and hence a large intrinsic quadrupole deformation. An earlier calculation showed a large collective enhancement in gamma transition probability between the low lying states leading to a 4+^+ to 2+^+ gamma branch of ∼10−7\sim10^{-7} and a resonant radiative cross section of 134 nb for the α+α\alpha+\alpha entrance channel. We report here the first experimental evidence for this transition through a γ−α−α\gamma-\alpha-\alpha coincidence measurement in the reaction 4^4He(α,αγ\alpha,\alpha \gamma)4^4He using a gas target. The measured cross sections on and off the 4+^+ resonance are 165 ±\pm 41 (stat) ±\pm35 (sys) nb and 39 ±\pm 25 (stat) ±\pm7 (sys) nb, respectively.Comment: Total 4 pages, 4 figures, in RevTeX format, submitted to PR

Secure data transfer is the most important concern in today’s world. Data in transit is always in danger of getting compromised Communication of information over the Internet is rapidly increasing due to the availability of the Internet and increase in transmission speed. However, confidentiality, data security, reliability issues regarding to data transmission such as , data loss are becoming serious concerns. To fulfill the need of secure transmission of text data, we proposed algorithm in next paper. Secure data transfer is the most important concern in today’s world. On the classification of Kahler-Ricci solitons on Gorenstein del Pezzo surfaces

We give a classification of all pairs (X,v) of Gorenstein del Pezzo surfaces X and vector fields v which are K-stable in the sense of Berman-Nystrom and therefore are expected to admit a Kahler-Ricci solition. Moreover, we provide some new examples of Fano threefolds admitting a Kahler-Ricci soliton.Comment: 21 pages, ancillary files containing calculations in SageMath; minor correction

Automated Validation of Insurance Applications against Calculation Specifications

Insurance companies rely on their Legacy Insurance System (LIS) to govern day-to-day operations. These LIS operate as per the companys business rules that are formally specified in Calculation Specification (CS) sheets. To meet ever-changing business demands, insurance companies are increasingly transforming their outdated LIS to modern Policy Administration Systems (PAS). Quality Assurance (QA) of such PAS involves manual validation of calculations implementation against the corresponding CS sheets from the LIS. This manual QA approach is effort-intensive and error-prone, which may fail to detect inconsistencies in PAS implementations and ultimately result in monetary loss. To address this challenge, we propose a novel low-code no-code technique to automatically validate PAS implementation against CS sheets. Our technique has been evaluated on a digital transformation project of a large insurance company on 12 real-world calculations through 254 policies. The evaluation resulted in effort savings of approximately 92 percent against the conventional manual validation approach.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures, 3 tables, 1 algorithm code block, accepted for publication at ISSRE 2022 (industrial track
