    THE EFFECT OF USING INTERACTIVE INSTRUCTIONAL MODEL TOWARD READING COMPREHENSION OF THE SECOND YEAR STUDENTS AT STATE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 TEMBILAHAN HULU

    This research was conducted because some problems were faced by students in learning English especially in reading comprehension of descriptive text. The problems were; some of the students could not understand about the generic structure of reading text, some of the students cannot find functional of reading text, and the students also cannot identify the general information of the text. The research was conducted with purpose to know is there any significant effect of interactive instrucional model toward reading comprehension in descriptive text of second year students at state junior high school 1 tembilahan hulu. The design used in this research was nonequivalent control group design in Quasi-Experimental research. In collecting data, the writer used test, it was used in order to collect the data of students reading comprehension in descriptive text at the second year students of SMP N 1 Tembilahan Hulu. The tests consisted of two tests: Pretest was used to determine student’s reading comprehension before getting the treatment and Post-test was used to determine student’s reading comprehension after getting the treatment. To analyze the data, the researcher adopted Independent sample T-test formula and paired sample test by using SPSS. After analysing the data,the researcher found that there was no significant difference of students’ reading comprehension before being taught by using Interactive Instructional Model for experimental class and without using Interactive Instructional Model for control class, there was significant difference of students’ reading comprehension after being taught by using Interactive Instructional Model for experimental class and without using Interactive Instructional Model for control class. Then, there is significant Effect of Using Interactive Instructional Model Toward Reading Comprehension of the Second Year Students at State Junior High School 1Tembilahan Hulu. Thus, Null Hypothesis (Ho) is Rejected, and Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is Accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that students’ reading comprehension taught by using Interactive Instructional Model was better than students’ reading comprehension taught without using Interactive Instructional Model

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) tahun 2015-2019 dan untuk mengetahui kendala serta strategi pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Pajak Dan Retribusi Daerah (BP2RD) dalam meningkatkan BBNKB di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu metode dengan menggunakan data yang disusun, di interprestasikan dan dianalisa sehingga memberikan gambaran yang jelas dan lengkap bagi pemecah masalah yang dihadapi.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang bersumber dari BP2RD Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan data sekunder yang bersumber dari buku dan jurnal. Setelah memenuhi kriteria dilanjutkan analisis efektivitas menggunakan kriteria efektivitas.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas penerimaan BBNKB di Provinsi Sumatera Utara adalah sangat efektif, sehingga dapat dinilai bahwa pemerintah terkhususnya pegawai BP2RD telah berhasil perolehan rata-rata persentase sebesar 105%.Penerimaan Pajak BBNKB ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa sebab yaitu karena kurangnya kepatuhan dan kesadaran masyarakat, minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat serta faktor ekonomi yang tidak merata.Upaya yang dapat dilakukan pemerintah terutama pegawai BP2RD untuk meningkatkan BBNKB di Provinsi Sumatera Utara yaitu meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan melakukan sosialisasi tentang betapa pentingnya peran pajak serta bekerja sama dengan kepolisian untuk melakukan Razia pada masyarakat yang belum memenuhi kewajibannya untuk membayar pajak

    Jatibarang adalah sebuah kota kecamatan di Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Jatibarang menjadi titik keramaian yang ada di Kabupaten Indramayu, sebagai pusat perekonomian dan pintu gerbang utama dari arah Cirebon, Bandung dan wilayah-wilayah lain di bagian timur Pulau Jawa. Terdapat sebuah pasar di Jatibarang yang merupakan salah satu pusat keramaian di Indramayu. Pasar tersebut merupakan pasar tradisional milik pemerintah daerah Indramayu. Bangunan pasar sendiri terletak di Jalan Mayor Sangun Jatibarang bersebelahan dengan Stasiun Kereta Api. Pasar merupakan salah satu sarana ekonomi untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada kalangan masyarakat dalam melakukan transaksi jual beli barang baik barang-barang yang bersifat konsumtif maupun produktif. Selain itu, pasar juga memberikan peluang kesempatan kerja dan peningkatan pendapatan bagi masyarakat sehingga pembangunannya akan memberikan kontribusi bagi dinamika ekonomi masyarakat dan peningkatan pendapatan pemerintah.     Subjective well being children with ADHD

    Identifying how subjective well-being is based on the perceptions of children with ADHD itself and to find out what aspects show children with ADHD are feeling their well-being and what aspects show children with ADHD have not developed their well-being its important to be known. The child's voice is important and is the most accurate data in showing what the child feels themselves include about their subjective wellbeing. Case study qualitative research methods by interview with a sample of 44 children comprising 3 females, 41 males (age 8-12). Data analysis was using thematic analysis with NVIVO 12. The results indicate that children with ADHD in general, in their lives, are already having their well-being and some are not. In general the factors that make children with ADHD feel their well-being or not, include about capable do something, when get what they want, and have positive/ negative relationships with the people around them. It is important to pay attention to the subjective well-being children with ADHD, it is hoped that teachers, parents, and government can further optimize their respective roles and collaborate with each other to jointly pay attention to children's well-being with various strategies and policies

    Project-based Learning in Chinese Classroom: A Way to Stimulate Students

    Learning Mandarin as a foreign language not only emphasize the importance of pronunciation and mastery of vocabulary or grammar, but also the importance of understanding of the context, therefore students are able to apply when communicate using Mandarin. Project-based Learning (PjBL) is one of the learning models which help students in applying what they learnt in real context. In this study, researchers apply PjBL on XI graders in two different high schools in Indonesia, which are Senior High School 5 Malang and Senior High School Taruna Nala Jawa Timur. The researcher asked Senior High School 5 Malang students’ to create a three minute video about visiting a sick friend. Meanwhile, the task that given to Senior High School Taruna Nala Jawa Timur students’ is to create a 3D school’s map. As a result, PjBL implementation in Mandarin classroom proved to gives an opportunity for students to apply what they have learnt in a real context so it can stimulate students in developing their language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and improve their 4Cs competencies (critical thinking, collaborative, communicative, and creative).     Stabilitas Hasil Jagung Varietas Hibrida Harapan Umur Genjah

    Maize yield represents the interaction between genotype and environment. An excellent genotype should have high mean yield and small variation across common locations.This information could be obtained through yield performance test and stability analysis of yield data obtained from multilocation trials. This research was aimed to find out yield stability of eight early maturing maize promising lines at five sites using the AMMI method. There were total 12 genotypes of maize hybrids used in this research, consisted of eight hybrids (CH-1, CH-2, CH-3, CH-4, CH-5, CH-6, CH-7, and CH-8) and four check varieties (Gumarang, Bima 3, AS-1, and Bisi 2). This research was conducted at five locations ie. Gowa (South Sulawesi), Donggala (Central Sulawesi), Manado (North Sulawesi), Probolinggo (East Java) and Lombok Barat (West Nusa Tenggara) from April to September 2013. The treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 3 replications. Variable measured was grain yield at all trial locations. Analysis of variance was performed for each site data to determine the performance of each genotype at each location. Results showed that genotype CH-2, CH-4 and CH-6 were considered as stable genotypes. Genotype CH-2 and CH-4 have a potensial to be released as new early maturing variety, due to its high yield of 8.71 and 7.52 t/ha averaged over 5 locations. Genotype CH-6 yielded below the mean yield of all genotypes, while genotype CH-8 was adaptive to a specific location, such as in Donggala, with yield of 8.38 t/ha

    Teacher and Problem in Student with ADHD in Indonesia : A Case Study

    Students with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) often experience academic and social problems at school because of their behavior problems. The teacher becomes one of the main figures who can help students with ADHD in the school. However, research about problem in students with ADHD from teachers’ perspective has limited empirical evidence in Indonesia. In the study, we explored the perception and experiences of teacher towards problem in students with ADHD and how teachers handle the problem in school. We conducted case study using semi-structured interview with purposive sampling technique for 38 elementary school teachers in Indonesia. We found that most teachers still lacking knowledge about ADHD. Students with ADHD had several problems including problem with themselves, problem in social relation, problem in academic, negative behavior problem, negative label from the surroundings problem. The teacher’s intervention in dealing student with ADHD were using learning strategies, cooperation with parent and expert, arise awareness to the surrounding about ADHD and suggestion for doing treatment. Our study seeds light that teachers need to improve their knowledge and awareness by finding information about ADHD, understanding about problem in student with ADHD and how to handle the problem more appropriate to provide the best service for student with ADHD. Supporting policy from school and government is needed to provide training program for teachers to handle student with ADHD adequately

    Hubungan Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa Kelas V SD Muhammadiyah I Remu Kota Sorong

    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah I Remu Sorong. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel ( variabel X kecerdasan emosional terhadap variabel Y kemampuan pemecahan masalah). Pupolasi dalam peneltian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah I Remu Sorong yang berjumlah 115 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 39 siswa. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan data.Untuk mengolah data menggunakan sistem komputerisasi SPSS versi 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah matematika siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah I Remu Sorong, yaitu sebesar 0,792 atau berkontribusi sebesar 79,20 %
