CONUL Research Support Task and Finish Group
The Group’s remit was to prepare a three year strategy to develop the research support capacity of CONUL libraries.
The group identified key areas around which a tool kit was to be developed in the form of briefing documents. The briefing documents are collated together in thechapters and appendices of this report

Integrating Project Orientated Problem Based Learning (POPBL) and Information Literacy Instruction
GSE1 (PG Information Literacy and Communication Skills) module was redesigned to a more project orientated and problem-based learning (POPBL) delivery.
Research showed evidence for the benefits to Information Literacy instruction of a PBL approach
GSE1 Postgraduate Information Literacy and Communication Skills Training-Project Orientated Delivery
Module presented by the Faculty of Science and Engineering in cooperation with the Subject Librarian from Learning Teaching and Research Development in the Library.
Original format was four three hour workshops plus 18 hrs self paced course work using interdisciplinary written and verbal skills training tasks .
Translate a peer reviewed Journal paper to communicate it to a interdisciplinary audience and prepare a short presentation.
It was enhanced with the introduction of a peer-learning component by dividing participants into four groups of eight.
