In the title compound, (C6H17N3)2[Ge2S6], the dimeric [Ge2S6]4− anion is formed by two edge-sharing GeS4 tetrahedral units. The average terminal and bridging Ge—S bond lengths are 2.164 (2) and 2.272 (8) Å, respectively. The dimeric inorganic anions and the organic piperazinium cations are organized into a three-dimensional network by N—H⋯S hydrogen bonds

BACKGROUND: Optical coherence tomography (OCT) or OCT angiography (OCTA) has been investigated in few research studies of psychiatric disorders. No research has been done using OCT or OCTA in patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD). METHODS: OCTA measured foveal avascular zone (FAZ), macular vessel density (MVD), and peripapillary vessel density (PVD). OCT measured the peripapillary retinal fiber layer (RNFL) and central retinal thickness (CRT). The study utilized the Ottawa Self-Injury Inventory, Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAMA), and Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF) to assess the symptom characteristics of individuals with BPD. RESULTS: Fifty-nine eyes of BPD patients and 58 eyes of normal subjects were analyzed, MVD of the superficial retinal capillary plexus declined noticeably in most subfields (p \u3c 0.05). Significant differences were observed in the whole inner ring and outer ring index between BPD and HC groups (p \u3c 0.05). The patients with BPD exhibited lower RNFL and CRT, the difference was significant (p \u3c 0.05). CRT indicated a significant negative correlation with the Ottawa Self-Injury Inventory (p \u3c 0.05). In addition, we observed that there was a negative correlation identified between the MVD of the inner ring and HAMA (p \u3c 0.05). Meanwhile, the MVD of the outer ring was positively correlated with GAF (p \u3c 0.05). The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUROCs) for distinguishing BPD and HC eyes in OCTA were the highest for fovea MVD (0.679), followed by outer ring MVD (0.669), inner ring MVD (0.641), FAZ (0.579). In OCT, CRT was highest for BPD (0.711), followed by RNFL (0.625). CONCLUSION: The OCT and OCTA can non-invasively detect microvascular and morphology changes of the retina in BPD patients compared to healthy control subjects

The research for partitioned algorithm of coupling of elastic pipe and cross-flow in a cylinder

In the marine flatbed, nuclear power stations and oil fields, the marine risers and heat exchangers are induced vibrations and collision, even caused failure with cross flow. This is a typical problem of bundles vibration in fluid-structure interaction. In this paper, the elastic pipe was separated into several beam elements. And the dynamical equation was adopted to describe the structure. The fluid domain of cylinder was separated into solid elements. And the computational fluid dynamics equation was adopted to describe the fluid. At the fluid-structure coupling interface, the formulas of displacement, velocity and load was derived and the corresponding convergence criterion was also derived. Thus, the partitioned coupling algorithm was established for the elastic pipe and the cross-flow in cylinder. The example showed that, comparing to the results of monolithic coupling algorithm, the error was small. Thus, it proved that the correctness of the partitioned coupling algorithm in this article. And it will provide an effective computational method for vibrations and collision of bundles in a more complex fluid domain

Myeloid ecotropic viral integration site 1 (MEIS) 1 involvement in embryonic implantation

BACKGROUND: The HOXA10 homeobox gene controls embryonic uterine development and adult endometrial receptivity. The three-amino-acid loop extension (TALE) family homeobox genes like myeloid ecotropic viral integration site 1 (MEIS) provide enhanced target gene activation and specificity in HOX-regulated cellular processes by acting as HOX cofactors. METHODS AND RESULTS: Analysis of an Affymetrix data set in the public domain showed high expression of MEIS1 in human endometrium. MEIS1 expression was confirmed during the human menstrual cycle by RT-PCR and in situ hybridization and was increased during the secretory compared with proliferative phase of the cycle (P = 0.0001), the time of implantation. To assess the importance of maternal Meis1 expression in a mouse model, the uteri of Day 2 pregnant mice were injected with Meis1 over-expression or small interfering RNA (siRNA) constructs. Blocking Meis1 expression by siRNA before implantation significantly reduced average implantation rates (P = 0.00001). Increased or decreased Meis1 expression significantly increased or decreased the expression of integrin beta3, a transcriptional target of HOXA10 and an important factor in early embryo-endometrium interactions (P = 0.006). Manipulating Meis1 expression before implantation also dramatically affected the number of pinopodes, uterine endometrial epithelial projections that develop at the time of endometrial receptivity. CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that in mouse, meis1 contributes to regulating endometrial development during the menstrual cycle and establishing the conditions necessary for implantatio

The SJTU X-LANCE Lab System for CNSRC 2022

This technical report describes the SJTU X-LANCE Lab system for the three tracks in CNSRC 2022. In this challenge, we explored the speaker embedding modeling ability of deep ResNet (Deeper r-vector). All the systems are only trained on the Cnceleb training set and we use the same systems for the three tracks in CNSRC 2022. In this challenge, our system ranks the first place in the fixed track of speaker verification task. Our best single system and fusion system achieve 0.3164 and 0.2975 minDCF respectively. Besides, we submit the result of ResNet221 to the speaker retrieval track and achieve 0.4626 mAP. More importantly, we have helped the wespeaker toolkit reproduce our result: https://github.com/wenet-e2e/wespeaker

SJTU-AISPEECH System for VoxCeleb Speaker Recognition Challenge 2022

This report describes the SJTU-AISPEECH system for the Voxceleb Speaker Recognition Challenge 2022. For track1, we implemented two kinds of systems, the online system and the offline system. Different ResNet-based backbones and loss functions are explored. Our final fusion system achieved 3rd place in track1. For track3, we implemented statistic adaptation and jointly training based domain adaptation. In the jointly training based domain adaptation, we jointly trained the source and target domain dataset with different training objectives to do the domain adaptation. We explored two different training objectives for target domain data, self-supervised learning based angular proto-typical loss and semi-supervised learning based classification loss with estimated pseudo labels. Besides, we used the dynamic loss-gate and label correction (DLG-LC) strategy to improve the quality of pseudo labels when the target domain objective is a classification loss. Our final fusion system achieved 4th place (very close to 3rd place, relatively less than 1%) in track3.Comment: System description of VoxSRC 202

Build a SRE Challenge System: Lessons from VoxSRC 2022 and CNSRC 2022

Different speaker recognition challenges have been held to assess the speaker verification system in the wild and probe the performance limit. Voxceleb Speaker Recognition Challenge (VoxSRC), based on the voxceleb, is the most popular. Besides, another challenge called CN-Celeb Speaker Recognition Challenge (CNSRC) is also held this year, which is based on the Chinese celebrity multi-genre dataset CN-Celeb. This year, our team participated in both speaker verification closed tracks in CNSRC 2022 and VoxSRC 2022, and achieved the 1st place and 3rd place respectively. In most system reports, the authors usually only provide a description of their systems but lack an effective analysis of their methods. In this paper, we will outline how to build a strong speaker verification challenge system and give a detailed analysis of each method compared with some other popular technical means
