    USE OF THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM APP IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES ON MATRIX SUBJECTS

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran Matriks melalui media Google Classroom di STMIK STIKOM Indonesia.  Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kurt Lewin. yang terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas DC semester I Program Studi Teknik Informatika STMIK STIKOM Indonesia dengan banyaknya mahasiswa 44 orang. Pertimbangan pemilihan kampus ini sebagai tempat penelitian karena dari hasil wawancara dengan dosen pengampu mata kuliah menyatakan hasil belajar pokok bahasan Matriks masih kurang dan belum pernah diadakan penelitian yang serupa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh perolehan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan tes hasil belajar pada prasiklus nilai rata-rata mahasiswa 52,59 dengan ketuntasan belajar 40,91% dan daya serap sebesar 51,59%. Untuk Siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 64,32, ketuntasan belajar 68,18% dan daya serap sebesar 64,32%. Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata 76,14, ketuntasan belajar 86,36% dan daya serap 76,14%. Peningkatan persentase nilai rata–rata mahasiswa, ketuntasan belajar, daya serap dari prasiklus ke siklus I berturut–turut 24,67%, 66,66%, dan 24,67%, dan persentase peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar, ketuntasan belajar, dan daya serap mahasiswa dari siklus I ke siklus II berturut-turut sebesar 18,37%, 26,66%, dan 18,37%.Abstract:  This study aims to examine and describe the improvement of learning outcomes in Matrix learning through Google Classroom media at STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. The type of research carried out is classroom action research (PTK). ith the Kurt Lewin model which consists of four steps, namely: planning, acting, observing, reflecing. This research was conducted in the first semester DC class Informatics Engineering Study Program STMIK STIKOM Indonesia with 44 students. The consideration of choosing this campus as a research location was because because the results of interviews with lecturers who taught subjects stated that the learning outcomes of the Matrix subject were still lacking and similar research had never been conducted. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that learning using theapplication Google Classroom can improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by The acquisition of student learning outcomes by means of a pre-cycle learning achievement test with an average value of 52.59 students with learning completeness of 40.91% and absorption capacity of 51.59%. For Cycle I, the average value was 64.32, learning completeness was 68.18% and absorption capacity was 64.32%. Whereas in the second cycle the average value was 76.14, learning completeness was 86.36% and absorption capacity was 76.14%. An increase in the percentage of students' mean scores, learning completeness, absorption from pre-cycle to cycle I respectively 24.67%, 66.66%, and 24.67%, and the percentage increase in average learning outcomes. learning completeness, and student absorption from cycle I to cycle II respectively at 18.37%, 26.66%, and 18.37%

    Abstrak: KSN untuk jenjang SMP merupakan ajang yang sangat bergengsi untuk merebutkan medali secara nasional pada masing-masing bidang ilmu. Ketatnya persaingan antara masing-masing kontingen terlihat dari sistem seleksi yang dilakukan mulai dari tingkat sekolah sampai tingkat nasional. Pengabdian ini difasilitasi oleh STMIK STIKOM Indonesia, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan daya saing siswa dalam mengikuti olimpiade sejenis khususnya KSN. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan secara langsung, discovery lerning, problem base learning, contekstual theacing learning, dan praktikum. Hasil pembinaan pada bidang IPS di SMPN 10 Denpasar menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembinaan. Sebelum mengikuti pembinaan hasil belajar siswa dari hasil pre-test didapat nilai rata-rata 65,25 untuk bidang IPS, sedangkan setelah pembinaan nilai hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 71,5, hal ini didapat dari nilai pos-test yang diberikan. Abstract:  KSN for junior high school level is a very prestigious event to win medals nationally in each field of science.     Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Denpasar menginisiasi program pengabdian masyarakat Nata Citta Swabudaya (NCS) pada Desa/Desa Adat terpilih di Bali. Program ini sepenuhnya didedikasikan untuk memajukan seni budaya berbasis kearifan lokal pada lokus pengabdian masyarakat yang dipilih. Pada program ini, ISI Denpasar terjun dengan tim terbaik dari unsur-unsur dosen dan tenaga kependidikan lintas Fakultas-lintas Program Studi (Prodi). Pilihan tim seperti ini dilakukan, guna memastikan seluruh potensi seni budaya dalam menopang pemajuan ekosistem dapat terakomodasi dengan optimal sejalan kecakapan dan profesionalisme bidang seni masing-masing anggota tim. Ekosistem seni budaya di desa/desa adat seluruh Bali secara umum telah berlangsung turun-temurun dan terpelihara secara baik, namun harus diakui pula bahwa masih banyak terjadi stagnasi, kerapuhan, bahkan kehilangan ekosistem. Pada beberapa desa, banyak terjadi kemacetan sistem pewarisan, kelangkaan, dan kepunahan seni budaya klasik dan tradisi. Antusiasme generasi muda dalam kerja pemajuan seni budaya di desa/ desa adat juga mengalami pemudaran. Kondisi objektif tersebut, menjadikan kehadiran NCS selalu dinanti desa/desa adat di Bali. Pada tahun 2022 ini, telah diselenggarakan program NCS di 5 desa/desa adat, yaitu: Nagasepaha (Buleleng), Penglipuran (Bangli), Batuan (Tabanan), Tenganan Pegringsingan (Karangasem), dan Batuan (Gianyar). Pemilihan Desa Batuan selain karena pengajuan oleh Perbekel Desa setempat, hal terpenting justru menunjuk pada potensi kekayaan seni budaya yang dimiliki. Adapun potensi seni dimaksud, meliputi: drama tari gambuh, seni lukis khas Batuan, seni pahat dan topeng, sungging wayang kulit, kerajinan perak dan keris, serta berbagai properti pagelaran. Selain potensi seni, Desa ini memiliki keistimewaan karena mewarisi berbagai artefak sakral Bali Kuno, diantaranya: prasasti Baturan, lingga-yoni, dan beragam arca. Kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat juga kental dan menyatu dengan tata laku tradisi, adat, seni budaya, serta kearifan lokal yang diwarisi dari zaman ke zaman. Selain alasan potensi seni budaya, pada tahun 2022 ini pula dimuliakan perayaan seribu tahun Prasasti Baturan. Momentum penting ini menjadi pertimbangan tersendiri penyelenggaraan NCS di desa Batuan. Potensi objektif ekosistem seni budaya Desa Batuan yang memadai untuk penyelenggaraan NCS, ternyata gayut harapan dan komitmen Kepala Desa Batuan, Ari Anggara menyatakan “Desa Batuan sebagai desa yang berbasis seni budaya yang didukung potensi sumber daya alam yang sangat layak untuk di hidupkan guna mendukung program-program desa terkait dengan penguatan dan pemajuan potensi seni budaya tersebut. Menimbang potensi objektif dan antusiasme pihak pengelola desa, maka diputuskan luaran NCS di Desa Batuan, yaitu: Panyembrama Citta (tari penyambutan), Sasmita Desa (video profil desa), Sawen Sastra Desa (monografi desa), dan Swabudaya Patra (prasasti NCS)

    DEVELOPING ANDROID-BASED ENGLISH VOCABULARY LEARNING MATERIALS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

    This study intended to develop an android-based application for English vocabulary learning for primary school students. By implementing Design and Development design model, the researcher underwent three main stages namely; 1) Design, 2) Development, and 3) Evaluation. Through the use of questionnaires and interview guide, the needs were assessed. The results showed that the primary school students need more time to learn English and emphasize more on vocabulary learning. The primary school students need a smartphone application which provides vocabulary practice, test and entertainment about the topics learnt in the class. The smartphone application was developed in Android Package Kit (APK) format designed by using Microsoft Power Point. Contrasted to others, this smartphone application provides vocabulary practices, quizzes, and games for all topics that 4, 5, and 6 graders need to learn. The smartphone application was tested and evaluated by 5 English teachers and 2 technology experts to find out the quality. The results showed that the application has a very good quality and ready to be installed and used in Android smartphone. An effective use of the application with meaningful learning activities for vocabulary learning for young learners are strongly suggested

    Efficiency of Monitoring Household Electricity With ZMCT103C

    An electric load monitoring system is a tool designed to monitor and measure electricity usage. The process of monitoring the electrical load uses a current sensor model ZMCT103C which is connected to the electrical load. The microcontroller used is an Arduino Uno microcontroller which functions as the main control system which will be connected to a 16x2 LCD monitor with the aim that in the future it can be monitored in real time and can be read directly on the LCD. By carrying out experiments on assembling the ZMCT103C sensor module with Arduino Uno which produces a monitoring feature for current measurement readings. The result of this research is a household electricity measurement monitoring system through a prototype made using the ZMCT103C sensor model with an Arduino Uno which is equipped with a 16x2 LCD monitor to make it easier to monitor the electrical energy load from household electronic devices in the form of current readings. The magnitude of the current measurement obtained from the reading of the ZMCT103C model current sensor will be compared to the ampere meter measuring instrument. By conducting this research, we can obtain data on the percentage of error obtained from the application of the ZMCT103C sensor, so that later from the results of this experiment the ZMCT103C sensor will be able to properly and correctly monitor electricity usage for household loads
