Teacher's Experiences of Using Digital Storytelling in Early Childhood Education in Indonesia: A Phenomenological Study
Digital storytelling is an important component of early childhood education (ECE) because it can help capture and expand their imagination. The purpose of this study was to explain early childhood teachers' beliefs about the use of digital storytelling in their classrooms. This research was conducted in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Phenomenological methods are used to understand and describe these phenomena and the essence of ECE teachers' experiences. The results showed that the experience of ECE teachers in learning using digital storytelling in the classroom had many benefits in improving the quality of learning. This study provides guidelines for ECE teachers on how technology can be integrated into children's learning activities using digital storytelling. The results of this study can also contribute to teachers to better understand the impact of using such technology to improve the development of technological literacy in early childhood education
Elemen Warna Dalam Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Agama Islam
Warna adalah elemen penting dalam pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran. Pemilihan warna dalam pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran merupakan hal penting yang turut menentukan kelayakan sebuah program paket multimedia. Penggunaan warna yang sesuai dalam multimedia pembelajaran dapat membangkitkan motivasi, perasaan, perhatian, dan kesediaan siswa dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman yang baik dalam pemilihan warna sangat diperlukan bagi para pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran, termasuk multimedia pembelajaran Agama Islam.Pewarnaan terhadap unsur-unsur multimemedia harus memperhatikan keselarasan (harmoni) warna. Unsur-unsur multimedia antara lain: teks, gam bar, latar belakang (background), dan symbol-simbol. Pewarnaan yang baik terhadap unsur-unsur tersebut dapat memberikan kesan yang kuat dan mempermudah mengingat bagi siswa terhadap materi-materi yang terkandung dalam multimedia pembelajaran
Etika Komunikasi dalam Perspektif Al Qur’an Qs. Ar-Rahman
Ethics is morals, while communication in the Qur’an means that humans are given instructions by Allah SWT to communicate well so that they can explain the meaning of something. The aim of this research is to dig deeper into the meaning contained in Surah Ar-Rahman verses 1-4 according to the views of Ibnu Katsir and Al Misbah. The research method used is the library research method using an interpretive approach (Ibnu Katsir and Al-Misbah). The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The results of the discussion in the Al-Qur’an Surah Ar-Rahman verses 1-4 in both commentaries, namely Ibn Kathir and Al Misbah, are that both discuss the meaning of Bayan. In Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir, the meaning of Bayan means speaking. Because siyaq is in the teaching of the Koran by Allah Ta’ala, namely how to read it. And this happens by making it easier to pronounce the articulation, as well as making it easier for the letters to come out through their respective paths from the throat, tongue and two lips according to the variety of articulations and types of letters. Meanwhile, the meaning of Bayan in Tafsir Al-Misbah Al-Bayan Teaching is not only limited to speech, but includes all forms of expression, including art and facial expressions. In fact, according to Al-Biqa’I, the word Al-Bayan is the potential for thinking, namely knowing kulli and juz’I issues, assessing the visible and also the unseen and making an analogy with the visible. Once with signs, another time with calculations, a third time with predictions and the next time with looking at the universe and other ways, while distinguishing between good and bad or something like that. This all carries with it the potential to decipher something hidden and explain and teach it to others. Once with words, other times with deeds, with speech, writing, gestures, etc. In this way, humans are able to perfect themselves and at the same time perfect others
PENGARUH EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN YANG DIMEDIASI OLEH KEPUASAN KERJA PADA PT. TRANSPORTASI GAS INDONESIA CABANG JAMBI
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh empowering leadership terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Sampling Jenuh (Sensus Sampling) pada 78 karyawan di PT. Transportasi Gas Indonesia cabang Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan menggunakan Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk analisis data, serta seperangkat kuesioner untuk pengumpulan data. Studi ini pada dasarnya mencatat empowering leadership sebagai variabel independen, kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel dependen yang dimediasi dari kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa empowering leadership memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan dimana pengaruh tidak langsung dari empowering leadership melalui kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja adalah lebih besar di PT. Transportasi Gas Indonesia. Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa empowering leadership merupakan agen perubahan untuk transformasi organisasi guna mencapai kinerja yang lebih baik khususnya di PT. Transportasi Gas Indonesia, dan secara umum meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produktivitas perusahaan di Indonesia.

Pengasuhan Anak Usia Dini dalam Hikayat Indraputra
Hikayat Indraputra (HI) adalah salah satu karya sastra Melayu yang sangat populer. Jumlah naskahnya yang banyak dan telah diterjemahkan ke dalam tiga bahasa lain menunjukkan pentingnya naskah itu untuk dikaji dengan mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap model pengasuhan anak usia dini dalam naskah HI, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian lingkaran fungsi Braginsky dengan beberapa indikator tertentu sebagai pedoman operasional. Fungsi yang dimaksud di sini adalah apa yang dituju oleh pengarang dan signifikansi teks-teks tertentu dalam keseluruhannya. Penelitian ini berusaha menemukan bentuk pengasuhan anak pada keluarga kerajaan yang hidup pada masa lampau, yang tentu terdapat banyak perbedaan lingkungan sosial budaya dengan bentuk pengasuhan pada masa sekarang. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, isi cerita yang mempunyai konteks pengasuhan anak usia dini yaitu bentuk pengasuhan yang diterapkan oleh Maharaja Bikrama Bispa kepada anaknya antara lain adalah ketika Maharaja Bikrama Bispa bersyukur dan bersukacita atas kelahiran, memberi nama yang baik, memberi perlindungan, mengenalkan agama, menjaga kebersihan, membahagiakan, dan mendoakan anak. KOMPETENSI GURU MENURUT ABU HAMID AL-GHAZALI: RELEVANSINYA DENGAN PENDIDIKAN DI ERA MODERN
This study aims to explore teacher competence according to Al-Ghazali's view and relate it to modern education. This research is an analytical study of teacher competence according to Al-Ghazali which is in the book Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din about educators. Among the teacher's competencies according to Al-Ghazali is having a sense of affection for their students. In the modern era like now, this competency is expected to be possessed by teachers. This hope, at least, arises because of cases of violence and sexual harassment perpetrated by teachers against their students. The teacher, who should be a role model, actually acts and acts immorally. This is a very worrying fact. Al-Ghazali, one of the famous Muslim figures with his title as hujjatul Islam, has contributed several thoughts related to educator competence. His thoughts are certainly very interesting to be studied in more depth. In more detail, the competencies suggested by Al-Ghazali to be possessed by an educator, will be explained in this article
The Effect of Lego Games on Improving Children’s Creativity Development
Purpose – This study aims to determine the effect of the lego game on lego games in increasing the development of creativity in children aged 4-5 years at TK Aisyiyah ABA Konang Glagah Lamongan. Following the problems found in the field, the lack of learning the media used by teachers results in children feeling bored more quickly in carrying out teaching and learning activities and only emphasizing their academic development so that the development of creativity is not given enough attention.Design/methods/approach – This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type and a one-group pretest-posttest design in collecting the data, namely making initial observations before being given treatment, treatment, and final observations after being given treatment. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation; data analysis used IBM SPSS with paired samples t-test. In this research, researchers conducted data mining using research instruments on children aged 4-5 years in TK Aisyiyah ABA Konang Glagah Lamongan.Findings – The results of the study show that the influence of the use of lego games increases the development of children’s creativity—the output of the paired sample t-test evidence this A significant value is obtained, namely 0.008 < 0.05. It indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on increasing the development of children’s creativity using lego games.Research implications/limitations – This research only focuses on children aged 4-5 years with a limited number of 15 whose area is only in TK Aisyiyah ABA Konang Glagah Lamongan and in this study only uses lego games as a medium to increase the development of creativity in children.Practical implications – The results of this study are expected to help parents understand the creative talents possessed by children so that they can stimulate this development with the right strategies and methods.Originality/value – This research provides an in-depth understanding of one of the early childhood learning media to enhance creativity development using lego game media.Paper type: Research pape
Abdullah Nashih ‘Ulwan’s Technological Contribution toward the Development of Islamic Early Childhood Education
The development of science and technology has an impact on the use of technology in education. The application of educational technology in learning is aimed at creating more effective, efficient, and meaningful learning for children. Meanwhile, Islam, which is revealed as a paradigm, explains that education is the best way in developing human nature as well as human resources towards the formation of ‘Insan Kamil’. One of the notable Moslem thinkers worthen to be discussed in this case study is Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan who has written a monumental work in education entitled ‘Tarbiyatul Aulad fil Islam’. This study sought answers to Ulwan's contributions in the development of early childhood education. The results of this study show that Ulwan's thought cannot be separated from a particular movement namely ‘Ikhwanul Muslimin’. The critical foundation of Ulwan's thinking on child education is essentially derived from his thinking about fitrah. Fitrah, according to ‘Ulwan, is a nature in which humans have a tendency of innate good and evil. Therefore, children at their early age require particular forms of conditioning to develop learners’ type of personality through three approaches namely: the formulation of appropriate child education methods, the establishment of educator readiness and attachment to children, and the conditioning of early childhood education environments
