The reactivity of 1, 3, 2-diheterophospholans containing a tricoordinate phosphorus atom

The results of studies on the reactivity of 1, 3, 2-di-heterophosphacycloalkanes containing a tricoordinate phosphorus atom carried out in recent years are examined and surveyed. Much attention has been devoted to reactions leading to an increase of the coordination number of the ring phosphorus atom and also to exocyclic and endocyclic substitution reactions. The mechanisms and certain stereochemical characteristics of the reactions of cyclic phosphorus compounds are discussed. In a few instances the reactivities have been estimated quantitatively. © 1983 The British Library

The application of geoinformation systems for the purposes of economical-statistical analysis

The research article discusses possibilities of modern GIS for solving problems of socio-economic analysis of regional and urban systems, and prospects of GIS support for implementation of basic functions of regional management. The experience of geoinformation technologies adoption in operation of the regional statistical agency is analyzed. Characteristics of structuralfunctional features of the GIS, oriented on solution of statistical analysis problems of regional systems of the Volga Federal district and the Republic of Tatarstan are given. Possibilities of its GIS-maps system and spatial databases, as well as in the authors' program package for operative preparation of the economic maps series for state estimation of main functional subsystems of the region, which enable to monitor economic activities in the regional municipalities are discussed

"Phosphonoethylation" and diene-synthesis reactions with vinylphosphonic esters

1. Dibutyl vinylphosphonate has been synthesized. 2. It has been shown that vinylphosphonic esters combine at the double bond with hydrogen sulfide and with mercaptans, yielding the corresponding dialkyl 2-mercaptoethylphosphonates and dialkyl 2 alkylmercaptoethylphosphonates respectively. 3. It has been shown that vinylphosphonic esters maybe used as dienophiles in diene-synthesis reactions. A method has been developed for the preparation of esters of homologs and derivatives of cyclohexenylphosphonic acid. © 1953 Consultants Bureau

Heterophosphacyclanes in organic synthesis

The review gives a systematic account of the use of mono- and di-heterophosphacyclanes, containing σ3-, σ4- and σ5- phosphorus atoms, for the synthesis of phosphorus-free organic substances. Data concerning the reaction mechanisms, the reactivities of cyclic organophosphorus compounds, and the factors determining the synthetic result of their chemical reactions are presented. In certain cases, the effectiveness of the employment of cyclic and acyclic phosphorus-containing reagents is compared.
