ABSTRACT: In this paper microstrip bandpass filter as been proposed for UWB application using uniplanar compactelectromagnetic bandgap (UC-EBG) are used here to improve passband obtained in UWB region, also to improve the good out-of-band performances and the EBG structure to reduce the overall size of the filter

Application of BCI in Mind Controlled Robotic Movements in Intelligent Rehabilitation

ABSTRACT: Driven by society's growing recognition of the needs of physically challenged people, this paper aims at providing a Smart BCI based solution for the realization of intelligent rehabilitation technique. This system has extremely high impact especially for otherwise critical; Stroke affected and physically challenged individuals. An application that is capable of helping them, perform independently, the essential functions as and when they think is presented here. The system briefed uses a new way (CSSP algorithm) of design thereby overcoming the limitations of conventional systems those uses CSP algorithm. BCI's users explicitly manipulate their brain activity instead of motor movements. The emphasis is on the development of Non-invasive BCIs that uses EEG signal in order to make the final solution completely robust. Following a general overview, suitable signals, the necessary conditioning techniques and most efficient CSSP method of determining the user's intention are presented along with further resources for designing brain-computer interfaces

Comparison of UWB Band pass filter and EBG embedded UWB Band pass filter

ABSTRACT-The main objective of this project is compare UWB Bandpass filter and another UWB Bandpass filter based on electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures .Mainly the focus is on the compactness and performance of the filter design which will be compared with conventional wideband filter .In this EBG structure is investigated and applied to UWB BPFs. The UC-EBG cell is divided in four sectors with the cross line, and added with parallel coupled line to obtain a simple bandpass filter ..The performance of filter is compared by there insertion loss and return loss
