ABSTRACT An experimental investigation is carried out to study the effect of inlet boundary layer thickness, aspect ratio and exit Mach number on the energy loss and on the behaviour of secondary vortices downstream of a straight turbine cascade of blades having 82°t urning angle . Some correlations were deduced which predict, the cascade efficiency and the gross secondary loss coefficient as function of the downstream distance
