    KESIAPAN PETANI MENGIKUTI SERTIFIKASI KOPI ORGANIK DI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG BARAT

    This study aims to analyze the readiness of farmers, their income, and marketing of certified organic coffee in West Lampung Regency. This research conducted in Sindang Pagar Village, Sumber Jaya Sub-District, Mutar Alam Village and Tambak Jaya Village, Way Tenong Sub-District, West Lampung Regency. The samples of this research were all farmers participating in the organic coffee certification program, 35 farmers totally. Qualitative descriptive analysis used to analyze the readiness of farmers in participating the certification program, quantitative descriptive analysis used to calculate farm income, marketing channels, and marketing margins. The results showed that the farmers were not ready to take part in the organic certification program because there were still unfulfilled indicators. Organic coffee farming income is IDR3,741,918 per ha with an R/C value of 1.74. Coffee marketing in this research area has 3 marketing channels. In marketing channel I farmers sell their coffee to coffee processors, in marketing channel II farmers sell to wholesalers then to exporters, in marketing channel III coffee farmers sell to collectors, then to wholesalers, and finally to exporters. The selling price in the first channel is more profitable for farmers than the second and third channels. Marketing carried out by farmers participating in the certification, namely 18% is sold at the price of organic coffee, and the remaining 82% sold underpriced. In the second and third channels, farmers do not get a premium fee for marketing the coffee products they produce during the certification process.Key words: coffee, certification, farmers, organic

    ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL USAHA SAPI PERAH SENTULFRESH INDONESIA DI KABUPATEN BOGOR

    This research seeks to analyze the feasibility of dairy cattle business. This research was conducted in Sentulfresh Indonesia in Bogor Regency. Respondents consisted of the owner and the employees of dairy farm also yoghurt production. Data were analyzed by quantitatively using measurement criteria of financial viability and sensitivity analyzes. The results showed that dairy cattle business is financially viable as indicated by NPV values of Rp5,542,458,138.00; Net B/C values of 2.42; Gross B/C values of 1.63; IRR values of 35.09 percent; and PP of 5.76 from the economic life of dairy cattle for eight years, and dairy cattle business is still viable despite the drop in yoghurt sales of 6.24 percent, the drop in milk sales of 45.60 percent, and an increase in cow maintenance cost of 5.88 percent.Key words: dairy cattle, financial feasibility, sensitivity

    VALUASI EKONOMI DAN DAMPAK WISATA ALAM BUKIT SAKURA TERHADAP PEREKONOMIAN MASYARAKAT

    The purposes of this study are to explore the travel costs incurred by visitors to Bukit Sakura, the factors that affect the number of tourist visits to Bukit Sakura, the economic value of Bukit Sakura and the impact of Bukit Sakura on the people's economy. The research location was chosen deliberately in Bukit Sakura Nature Tourism. Data collection was carried out in March-July 2020. The method used in this study was a case study with 76 visitor respondents, 15 worker respondents and 8 business unit respondents. The data analysis methods used are travel cost analysis, Poisson regression analysis, economic value calculation, and Keynesian multiplier effect. Travel expenses incurred by visitors to Bukit Sakura tourism are IDR 88,805 per person per visit. The factors that influence the number of visits to Bukit Sakura are the age and cost of the trip. The economic value of Bukit Sakura based on the travel cost method is IDR 13,111,054,718.63. The Income Multiplier Keynesian value is 0.45 while the Income Multiplier Ratio Type 1 value is 2.68 and the value obtained from Income Multiplier Ratio Type 2 is 5.18. The Income Multiplier Keynesian value of 0.45 indicates that Bukit Sakura tourism still has a low economic impact.Key words: economic impacts, economic value, number of visits, and travel costs

    POLA KONSUMSI DAN PERMINTAAN BERAS TINGKAT RUMAH TANGGA DI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG

    This research aims to examine the pattern of rice consumption, rice demand and the factors that influence household rice demand in Bandar Lampung City.  This study used a survey method involving 64 respondents chosen randomly and consisted of 32 respondents from Panjang District and 32 respondents from by Sukarame District.  Data collection was carried out in November to December 2018 and analyzed qualitatively, statistically descriptive and verification using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the pattern of household rice consumption in Bandar Lampung City consisted of the types of rice consumed by households was random rice, IR 64, Pandan Wangi, and Rojolele with the type of rice most consumed by households was IR 64. The quality of rice consumed by households was super rice.  Most of the households consume rice because of habits.  Total household rice consumption was 15-25 kg per month.  The majority of households consume 3 times per day. The total household rice demand in Bandar Lampung City was 25.31 kg per month and the average demand per capita was 6.33 kg per month.  Factors affecting household rice demand in Bandar Lampung City were the price of bread, the price of chicken, and the number of household members.Key words: consumption pattern, demand, ric

    DAMPAK TAMAN WISATA TALANG INDAH TERHADAP PEREKONOMIAN MASYARAKAT DI KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU

    Talang Indah Tourism Park is a tourist attraction located in Pringsewu Regency. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of Talang Indah Park on the economy of the people in the Pringsewu Regency. The research method used was a survey method with 75 visitor respondents, 12 business actors, and 23 labor respondents.  The data analysis method used is the Keynesian multiplier effect, by calculating the direct impact, indirect impact, and induced impact.  This study concludes that the direct impact that is felt is IDR24,405,000.00 per month, the indirect impact is IDR35,770,000.00  per month, and the induced impact is IDR42,402,000.00 per month. The Keynesian Income Multiplier value at Talang Indah Park is 5.20, so it can be concluded that Talang Indah Tourism Park has economic impact on tourism activities.Key words: direct, indirect, induced, multiplier effect, tourism park

    PENDAPATAN DAN RISIKO USAHATANI CABAI DI KECAMATAN SUMBEREJO KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS

    This research aims to find out the comparison of income and the risk of chili pepper (Capsicum annum L.) farming and cayenne pepper (Capsicum Frutescens L.) farming.  The study was conducted in three villages at Sumberejo Sub-district of Tanggamus Regency.  This research used a survey method and respondents in this research were 30 chili pepper farmers and 30 cayenne pepper farmers.  The data analysis used is farm income analysis and risk analysis uses coefficient of variation. To find out the comparison of income and risk of farming was independent sample t-test. The results showed that the income of chili pepper farming was higher than that of cayenne pepper farming with the income of IDR119,047,409.08 per hectare and IDR49,579,450.49 per hectare. There is no significant difference between production risk and income from chili pepper and cayenne pepper farming.     PERAN GENDER, PENDAPATAN DAN KESEJAHTERAAN SUBJEKTIF RUMAH TANGGA PETANI KOPI DI KECAMATAN SUMBEREJO KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS

    This study aims to analyze gender roles, household income, subjective well-being and correlation between gender roles and subjective well-being of coffee farmer households in Sumberejo District, Tanggamus Regency.  This research is conducted by a survey method.  The location is chosen purposively in Sumbermulyo Village and Margoyoso Village, for the villages are the center of coffee production in Sumberejo District.  The samples in this research are 67 coffee farmers.  The samples determined by simple random sampling method.  Data were collected in March-April 2019 and analyzed by descriptive qualitative analysis, descriptive quantitative analysis and Chi-Square test.  The results of this research showed that gender roles in domestic activities and public activities were categorized as low and gender roles in social activities were categorized as moderate.  The average household income of coffee farmers was IDR39,467,773.88 per year.  The most contributed income was derived from coffee farming activities.  The subjective well-being was categorized as high.
