Mössbauer and photon NMR studies of Zr-based ternary hydrides

    No full text
57Fe Mössbauer and 1H NMR results on the hydrides of ZrMn2Fe0.8 and Zr(Fe1−xAlx)2 with x = 0.25 and 0.35 are reported. On hydrogenation the 57Fe isomer shift increases in all the samples but the EFG decreases in Zr(Fe1−xAlx)2 whereas it increases in ZrMn2Fe0.8. The 1H Knight shift is negative implying major contribution from core polarization
