Electric circuit networks equivalent to chaotic quantum billiards
We formulate two types of electric RLC resonance network equivalent to
quantum billiards. In the network of inductors grounded by capacitors squared
resonant frequencies are eigenvalues of the quantum billiard. In the network of
capacitors grounded by inductors squared resonant frequencies are given by
inverse eigen values of the billiard. In both cases local voltages play role of
the wave function of the quantum billiard. However as different from quantum
billiards there is a heat power because of resistance of the inductors. In the
equivalent chaotic billiards we derive the distribution of the heat power which

Polyphenolic Characterisation of Vranac, Kratosija and Cabernet Sauvignon (Vitis vinifera L. cv.) Grapes and Wines from Different Vineyard Locations in Montenegro
In Montenegro, red wines are produced predominantly, and Vranac accounts for nearly 80% of thesewines, followed by Kratosija and Cabernet Sauvignon. In order to characterise polyphenols in red varieties,grapes were sampled from representative vineyards at harvest time during 2011 and 2012. The contentand distribution of extractable anthocyanins, low-molecular mass proanthocyanidins (LMP) and highmolecularmass proanthocyanidins (HMP) in the seeds and skins of the grape berries were evaluated byapplying a five-day extraction method using ethanol:water (12:88) as extraction solvent. On average, thehighest content of LMP (2 006 and 1 690 mg/kg of grape fresh mass in years 2011 and 2012 respectively),HMP (2 705 and 2 805 mg/kg in years 2011 and 2012 respectively) and anthocyanins (1 035 mg/kg in theyear 2011) was found in the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The highest content of anthocyanins (1 113 mg/kgin the year 2012) and the lowest content of LMP (1 103 and 846 mg/kg in years 2011 and 2012 respectively)was found in Vranac grapes. Kratosija grapes had the lowest anthocyanin content (456 and 517 mg/kg inyears 2011 and 2012 respectively), and levels of LMP were similar to Vranac. The percentage distributionsof LMP between skins and seeds were 34:66, 39:61 and 49:51, whereas the distributions of HMP betweenskins and seeds were 67:33, 62:38 and 64:36 for Vranac, Kratosija and Cabernet Sauvignon respectively.All varieties had more LMP in the seeds and more HMP in the skins of the grapes. The results obtained areimportant to better understand the polyphenolic potential of Montenegrin red grape varieties
An Integrated Circuit for Signal Processing of the AMS RICH Photmultipliers Tubes
An analog integrated circuit has been designed, in a BiCMOS 0.8 micron
technology, for the feasability study of the signal processing of the AMS RICH
photomultiplier tubes. This low power, three channel gated integrator includes
its own gate and no external analog delay is requiered. It processes PMT pulses
over a dynamic range of more than 100. A logic output that indicates whether
the analog charge has to be considered is provided. This gated integrator is
used with a compact DSP based acquisition system in a 132 channels RICH
prototype. The charge calibration of each channel is carried out using a LED.
The pedestal measurement is performed on activation of a dedicated input. The

A stored-muon-beam neutrino factory may require transverse ionization cooling
of the muon beam. We describe recent progress in research and development on

Relativistic calculations of the lifetimes and hyperfine structure constants in Zn
This work presents accurate {\it ab initio} determination of the magnetic
dipole (M1) and electric quadrupole (E2) hyperfine structure constants for the
ground and a few low-lying excited states in Zn, which is one of
the interesting systems in fundamental physics. The coupled-cluster (CC) theory
within the relativistic framework has been used here in this calculations. Long
standing demands for a relativistic and highly correlated calculations like CC
can be able to resolve the disagreements among the lifetime estimations
reported previously for a few low-lying states of Zn. The role of
different electron correlation effects in the determination of these quantities

Quantum Hall fluctuations and evidence for charging in the quantum Hall effect
We find that mesoscopic conductance fluctuations in the quantum Hall regime
in silicon MOSFETs display simple and striking patterns. The fluctuations fall
into distinct groups which move along lines parallel to loci of integer filling
factor in the gate voltage-magnetic field plane. Also, a relationship appears
between the fluctuations on quantum Hall transitions and those found at low
densities in zero magnetic field. These phenomena are most naturally attributed
to charging effects. We argue that they are the first unambiguous manifestation
of interactions in dc transport in the integer quantum Hall effect.Comment: 4 pages RevTeX including 4 postscript bitmapped figure
Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry identification of Vibrio (Listonella) anguillarum isolated from sea bass and sea bream
Vibrio (Listonella) anguillarum is a pathogenic bacterium causing septicaemia in a wide range of marine organisms and inducing severe mortalities, thus it is crucial to conduct its accurate and rapid identification. The aim of this study was to assess MALDI-TOF MS as a method of choice for identification of clinical V. anguillarum isolates from affected marine fish. Since the method accuracy might be influenced by the type of the medium used, as well as by the incubation conditions, we tested V. anguillarum isolates grown on standard media with and without the addition of NaCl, cultured at three incubation temperatures, and at three incubation periods. The best scores were retrieved for V. anguillarum strains grown on NaCl-supplemented tryptone soy agar (TSA) at 22°C and incubated for 48h (100% identification to species level; overall score 2.232), followed by incubation at 37°C and 48h (100% to species level; score 2.192). The strains grown on non-supplemented TSA gave the best readings when incubated at 22°C for 72h (100% identification to species level; overall score 2.182), followed by incubation at 15°C for 72h (100% to species level; score 2.160). Unreliable identifications and no-identifications were growing with the incubation duration at 37°C, on both media, amounting to 88.89% for 7d incubation on supplemented TSA, and 92.60% for 7d incubation on non-supplemented TSA. The age of the cultured strains and use of media significantly impacted the mass spectra, demonstrating that for reliable identification, MALDI-TOF MS protein fingerprinting with the on-target extraction should be performed on strains grown on a NaCl-supplemented medium at temperatures between 15 and 22°C, incubated for 48-72 hours
