    BIODIVERSITAS TUMBUHAN DI CAGAR ALAM MOROWALI SULAWESI TENGAH INDONESIA

    Penelitian tentang keanekaragaman jenis  tumbuhan  Cagar Alam Morowali telah dilakukan dari bulan Mai- Desember 2008 berlokasi  di desa Kea-kea (Lapangga) and Uwata (Salubiru) kecamatan Bungku Utara. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan (vegetasi) menggunakan metoda survey melalui garis transek berpetak yang panjangnya 3000 m dan di dalamnya terdapat sebanyak 43 subplot berukuran 20 X 20 m untuk pengamatan pohon. Selanjutnya data dianalisis mengikuti rumus Dumbois-Muller dan Ellenberg. Hasil menunjukan tercatat 267 spesies tumbuhan tingkat tinggi yang dikategorikan pohon, tiang, pancang dan tingkat semai  di daerah penelitian. Selain itu tercatat pula beberapa jenis tergolong  endemik Sulawesi seperti Sarcotheca celebica Veldk. (Oxalidaceae), Palaquium maliliensis van Royen (Sapotaceae), Dillenia serrata Thunb (Dilleniaceae), Dillenia celebica Hoogland (Dilleniaceae), Garcinia celebica L (Clusiaceae), Macadamia hildebrandii Steenis (Proteaceae),  Dinochloa scanden (Blume ex Nees) Kuntze (Poaceae),  Hydriastele nannostachys W.J.Baker & Loo, Korthalsia celebica Becc. (Arecaceae), Knema celebica de Wilde (Myristicaceae), Nepenthes eymae Sh Kurata, Nepenthes tomoriana Danser and Nepenthes glabrata J.R.Turnbull & A.T.Middleto

    Sulawesi Tengah adalah salah satu propinsi di Indonesia yang secara biogeografi terletak  di “jantung”nya Wallacea, sebuah kawasan yang memiliki potensi sumberdaya alam biologi  yang unik kaya dengan flora-fauna endemik. Namun demikian potensi ini terutama keanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan belum terungkap dari berbagai aspek pengetahuan terutama dari aspek ekologi, taksonomi serta  dan pemanfaatan serta upaya konservasinya. Propinsi ini dihuni oleh + 19 kelompok etnik yang berbeda budaya, bahasa serta sistem pengetahuan tradisional yang mereka miliki dalam memanfaatk sumberdaya tumbuhan dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari. Dari beberapa studi yang telah dilakukan terungkap bahwa masing-masing kelompok etnis ini memiliki sistem pengetahuan lokal dalam menggunakan tumbuhan misalnya; untuk bahan bangunan, makanan dan minuman, obat-obatan dan kosmetik, bumbu dan rempah, pewarna alami, hijauan pakan ternak, tanaman hias, tali temali, sebagai pelengkap dalam acara ritual adat,  berburu, pertanian, perkakas rumah tangga serta keperluan lainnya. Tulisan ini mendiskusikan potensi keanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan serta penelitian etnobotani di provinsi Sulawesi Tengah

    The study, entitled "Study of Medicinal Plants Ethnobotany At Tribal Peoples Kaili Ija in Bora village Biromaru Sigi Sigi District of Central Sulawesi" was conducted from March to April 2015. The study aims to obtain information about the kinds of plants and parts used and the way of processing as a traditional medicine. The study was conducted using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods by interview using the Open-ended interview is free interview techniques or interviews conducted directly using a questionnaire that contains the name of the plant, the type of disease being treated, the plant part used (roots, rhizomes , stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds, tubers, and sap), how to use (taken / eaten, rubbed, smeared, dripped and taped), how processing (crushed, crushed, boiled and crushed) and plant status (wild / aquaculture) with the number of respondents 47 people. The results were obtained 32 types of plants used in traditional medicine by tribal people Kaili Ija.     A research entitle “Ethnobotany Research on the Saluan Tribal Ritual tradition in Pasokan village of Great Walea District in Tojo Una-una  Regency Central Sulawesi was conducted from June to August 2015. The study aims to determine the species and part of the plant which was used as a ritual even and also to obtain information about the uses of plants by Saluans tribal in Pasokan village. The method used were qualitative and quantitative methods in the form of participatory observation moderate, purposive sampling and snowball sampling, using 45 respondents. The plants were used in traditional rituals such as wedding rituals, building home, farming, birth of baby and circumcision. The result obtained 31 species from 22 plant families were used as ritual by Saluan tribal communities. The largest percentage of plant parts used are the leaves with a value of 34%. The ritual use of plants were direct consumpted, cooked, crushed, soaked and hanged

    Research on the study of ethnobotany medicinal plants in Tialo tribe in the village of the District Taopa Taopa Moutong Parigi district, Central Sulawesi has been carried out from January to March 2015. This study aimed to obtain information about the species of plants are utilized, plant organs used, the type of disease being treated and how the use of medicinal plants by Tialo tribe in the village of Taopa. This research is a descriptive research through semi-structured interviews with 42 respondents using questionnaire. Based on the obtained results of research conducted as many as 42 species of plants are used as traditional medicine. Part of the plant used, among others, the leaves of 48%, 26% fruit, rhizome 10%, 7% root, stem 2%, 2% interest, and all plant organs 5%. Taopa rural communities utilizing medicinal plants to treat chronic diseases, infectious and noninfectious.     Penelitian ini mengenai kajian etnobotani Family Pandanaceae pada Suku Moma di Ngata Toro, Kulawi, Sulawesi Tengahdilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai September 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan tumbuhan Family Pandanaceae oleh masyarakat Suku Moma. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode snowball sampling dengan melakukan wawancara. Identifikasi sampel tumbuhan dilakukan di Laboratoium Biosistematika Tumbuhan Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Tadulako. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 3 jenis tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat suku Moma yang ada di Ngata Toro yaitu Pandanus sp. 1, Pandanus sarasinorum Warburg dan Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.     The research about inhibition test of stem extract of Harrisonia perforata (Blanco) Merr. to the growth of Streptococcus mutans had conducted diving period of February to March 2015. The aim of this research was to study the inhibition test from stem extract plant of H. perforata (Blanco) Merr. on the bactery studied. The extraction was used reflux method.The experiment was arrenged in Completely Randomized Designed (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 repititions. The treatments were stem extract concentrates 40%, 50% and 60%, positive control Tetrasiklin hidroklorida 2% and negative control Na-CMC 1%. The result showed that stem extract of H. perforata (Blanco) Merr. had inhibition effect to the growth of bacteria. The extract concentrations 60% produced the biggest inhibition zone for S. mutans 21,4 mm than other concentrations.   Keyword :  Stem extract of Harrisonia perforata (Blanco) Merr., Streptococcus mutans

    KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS TUMBUHAN OBAT TRADISIONAL DAN PEMANFAATANNYA PADA SUKU KULAWI DI DESA MATAUE KAWASAN TAMAN NASIONAL LORE LINDU

    Ethnobotany is the study of medicinal plants of plant utilization in both everyday and cultural mores of a nation. The objective of this research was to identified the diversity of traditional medical plant and its utilization in kulawi local people at Mataue village Lore Lindu National Park. The research was conducted during April to May 2014 at Kulawi Sub-district of Sigi Regency Central Sulawesi. Identification process had been done at Biodiversity Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tadulako University. Methods which used on this study were survey and descriptive, consists of field survey and semi structural interview based on questionnaire. Outcome of the research showed that  there were 49 plant species covered from 30 families which were traditionally used as medicine. Leaves organ was the most widely applied as medicine with 58%  percentage, habitus type which highly found was herbaceous type with 51% percentage, and the most treated disease by the traditional medicine was non-communicable disease as much as 36%. Key words :Ethno botany, Medical Plant, Kulawi Local People

    Research on "The ethnobotanical study of medicinal plants of Topo Uma Tribe in Oo Parese village Kulawi district Central Sulawesi has been conducted from August to October 2014. This study aimed to obtain information about the kinds of plants are utilized as medicine, organ herbs used, the type of disease being treated and how it is used by Uma Topo tribe in the village of Oo parese.  The research method was a survey method to obtain quantitative and qualitative data. A total of 41 (forty-one) respondents including traditional leaders, shaman/"sando", nurses and local communities in semi-structured interview to obtain the necessary data. The result showed there were  32 species of plants are utilized as a medicinal plant. Plant organ was used such as leave, fruit, stem, bark, secd and root. There were some deaseas can be treatied like. Chronic desease, by different kind of application method, i.e mashed, squeezed, smeared used as fresh vegetables and stewed before served

    Ethnobotanic Study of Tajio Tribe Ritual Plants at Kasimbar Village, Parigi Moutong Regency was conducted from December 2012 until February 2013. The objective of this study was to know kinds of plants, meaning of them, and ways of taking advance of them by people of Tajio tribe. The research methods used were the combination between qualitative methods. They were observation, moderaate participatory, purposive sampling and snowball sampling, and 102 items of questionnaire for respondents. The plants were used for tradition ritual on Tajio tribe like wedding, house building, rice planting, birth and religious events. The result showed that based on the habitat, there were 7 species of trees, 3 clusters of clumps, 11 clusters of bushes, 16 categorized herbs and 4 kinds of categorzed lily used for the traditional ritual. In addition, based on parts of the plants, there were 8 species of roots, 15 species of stems, 15 species of leaves, 11 species of fruit, 5 species of flowers, 4 species of seeds, 3 species of tubers and 2 species of plant players
