The station for measurement torques of trunk flexors and extensors

Pomiar momentów sił mięśniowych jest ważnym elementem diagnostyki i treningu sportowego. Stosowane w tym celu urządzenia muszą być dostosowane do specyfiki badanej grupy mięśniowej oraz warunków prowadzenia pomiaru. Przedmiotem pracy było opracowanie własnej konstrukcji urządzenia do pomiaru momentów sił mięśniowych zginaczy i prostowników tułowia. Realizację tego zadania poprzedziła analiza anatomii i biomechaniki kręgosłupa. Przedstawione rozwiązanie umożliwia pomiar w dwóch pozycjach: stojącej oraz siedzącej co znacznie ułatwia dostosowanie warunków pomiaru do indywidualnych potrzeb.Measurement of muscle torque is important factor in diagnostics and sport training. The main aim of the presented research was elaboration of the own project of the station for measurement torques of trunk flexors and extensors. This was leaded by deep analysis of the anatomy and biomechanics of the spine. Another important element was review and analysis of available solutions for equipment designed for measurement trunk flexors and extensors torques. During the analysis the need for construction that allows measurement in both standing and seating position were specified

Influence of different way of carrying hand baggage on activity of selected skeletal muscles

Celem niniejszej pracy było określenie czy sposób przenoszenia bagażu podręcznego wpływa na aktywność wybranych mięśni szkieletowych. W tym celu badana była aktywność tych mięśni w czasie chodu z odpowiednio dobranym sposobem obciążenia. Podczas analizy wyników zauważono, że niesymetryczne przenoszenie bagażu powoduje zwiększoną aktywność badanych mięśni oraz wzrost asymetrii w działaniu mięśni po prawej i lewej stronie ciała.The aim on this study was to determine if and how different way of carrying hand baggage influence on selected skeletal muscles. For this purpose, the activity of these muscles was studied during gait with the appropriate load method. During the analysis of the result it was noted that asymmetric hand luggage increased the activity of the examined muscles as well as asymmetry in muscular activity on the right and left side of the body

Analysis of gait kinematics and dynamics of patients with hemiplegia

Celem pracy była analiza chodu osób z porażeniem połowiczym po udarze mózgu. Dokonano porównania wybranych parametrów lokomocji osób z porażeniem do chodu osób zdrowych, a także kończyny po stronie porażonej i nieporażonej. Analizie poddano 10 osób, w tym 4 kobiety i 6 mężczyzn. Wyniki badań przedstawiono na tle rezultatów chodu z naturalną prędkością młodych, zdrowych osób, stanowiących grupę porównawczą.The aim of this paper was to analyse the gait of people after stroke with hemiplegia and make comparision with the health people’s walk. Gait parameters obtained for paralyzed limb were compared with those obtainted for health one. Ten people after strokes with hemiplegia, including 4 women and 6 men, were taken into consederation. The results were presented on the background of the walk of the young, health people who were the reference group
