Note on maximally entangled Eisert-Lewenstein-Wilkens quantum games

Maximally entangled Eisert-Lewenstein-Wilkens games are analyzed. For a general class of gate operators defined in the previous papers of the first author the general conditions are derived which allow to determine the form of gate operators leading to maximally entangled games. The construction becomes particularly simple provided one does distinguish between games differing by relabelling of strategies. Some examples are presented.Comment: 20 pages, no figures, appendix added, references added, concluding remarks extende

    Deformed Galilei symmetry

A particular deformation of central extended Galilei group is considered. It is shown that the deformation influences the rules of constructing the composed systems while one particle states remain basically unaffected. In particular the mass appeared to be non additive.Comment: 14 pages LaTeX2e fil

Thermal and mycological active protection of historic buildings on the example of the baroque residence of Polish kings in Wilanów

Protection of the external partitions of historic buildings is a broad topic due to the limited possibilities of interfering with the structure. Restoration restrictions on prevention in the mycological protection of historic buildings are so large that, from the broad list of possible protective measures, practically only the heating of the nodes and the control of air parameters are practically safe. The reason for restrictions is the lack of possibility of introducing architectural changes and the limited possibility of interfering into the structure of external partitions. A fast method that uses fluorescence was used for quantitative assessment of the mycelium development during the research and design work preceding the revalorization of the baroque seat of Polish kings in Wilanów (Warsaw). Mould mycelium were found mainly in the areas of increased humidity of the substrates. The use of an innovative method of local reheating of thermal bridge areas has been proposed there. Systems for reheating with halogen radiators using various infrared radiation (IR) bands were analyzed. There was also designed an anticondensation system consisting on electric heating cables. The proposed solutions prevent the development of mould mycelium to a satisfactory degree. Finally, the interior of the palace regained its beautiful appearance and healthy microclimate

Groups, Platonic solids and Bell inequalities

The construction of Bell inequalities based on Platonic and Archimedean solids (Quantum 4 (2020), 293) is generalized to the case of orbits generated by the action of some finite groups. A number of examples with considerable violation of Bell inequalities is presented.Comment: 15 pages, 6 figures, modified version as suggested by the reviewers, accepted in Quantum 2021-11-18, Licence statement "arXiv.org perpetual, non-exclusive license" changed to CC-BY 4.0 as demanded by Quantu

Thermal stability of lightweight frame partitions exposed to pulsed wind load

    Get PDF
Much has been said about air infiltration, especially of ventilation losses and air quality. There is less information on heat losses through increased convection. This problem particularly concerns on one sided wind washing of the building envelope characterised with seeming airtightness of construction partitions. On the base of measurements undertaken in existing buildings constructed as lightweight timber structures filled with fiber materials it can be seen that air filtration also contributes to increased heat transfer through the building envelope. This paper presents the results of the research on the thermal stability of building partitions insulated with fiber materials and exposed to pulsed air filtration due to the wind load

    Depurification by Lorentz boosts

We consider a particle of half-integer spin which is nonrelativistic in the rest frame. Assuming the particle is completely polarized along third axis we calculate the Bloch vector as seen by a moving observer. The result for its length is expressed in terms of dispersion of some vector operator linear in momentum. The relation with the localization properties is discussed.Comment: 5 page

The professional self-government, as a component of the decentralised public authority, is an institution which derives its legitimacy from the supreme legal act, the Constitution of Poland. Its basic framework is set out in Article 17(1) of the Constitution, according to which: “By means of a statute, self-governments may be created within a profession in which the public repose confidence, and such self-governments shall concern themselves with the proper practice of such professions in accordance with, and for the purpose of protecting, the public interest”. The ratio legis of this regulation is the possibility of statutory entrustment of certain professional corporations with the performance of public tasks in authoritative forms appropriate for public administration. This study presents of the functions and tasks that the legislator has provided for the professional self-government of judicial officers. Currently, the provision regulating the tasks performed by the judicial officers’ self-government is Article 195 of the Act of 22 March 2018 on judicial officers, according to which the tasks of the judicial officers’ self-government include in particular: 1) supporting the administrative supervisory bodies in supervising the conscientious performance of service by judicial officers and the proper performance of duties by assessors and trainees, 2) participating in ensuring the conditions for the performance of the statutory tasks of judicial officers, 3) representing judicial officers and assessors, 4) the professional development of judicial officers and assessors, and participation in the training of trainees, 5) establishing and promoting the principles of professional ethics and ensuring their observance, 6) conducting research into the functioning of judicial enforcement. The authors analyse the normative material regulating the issue in question. Looking through the prism of theoretical concepts of professional self-government, they also assess the legitimacy of the solutions adopted by the legislator. Consequently, they make de lege lata remarks and de lege ferenda postulates
