A New Type of Cipher: DICING_csb
In this paper, we will propose a new type of cipher named DICING_csb, which
is derived from our previous stream cipher DICING. It has applied a stream of
subkey and an encryption form of block ciphers, so it may be viewed as a
combinative of stream cipher and block cipher. Hence, the new type of cipher
has fast rate like a stream cipher and need no MAC.Comment: There is a new variant added in the section
Visual Comfort Assessment for Stereoscopic Image Retargeting
In recent years, visual comfort assessment (VCA) for 3D/stereoscopic content
has aroused extensive attention. However, much less work has been done on the
perceptual evaluation of stereoscopic image retargeting. In this paper, we
first build a Stereoscopic Image Retargeting Database (SIRD), which contains
source images and retargeted images produced by four typical stereoscopic
retargeting methods. Then, the subjective experiment is conducted to assess
four aspects of visual distortion, i.e. visual comfort, image quality, depth
quality and the overall quality. Furthermore, we propose a Visual Comfort
Assessment metric for Stereoscopic Image Retargeting (VCA-SIR). Based on the
characteristics of stereoscopic retargeted images, the proposed model
introduces novel features like disparity range, boundary disparity as well as
disparity intensity distribution into the assessment model. Experimental
results demonstrate that VCA-SIR can achieve high consistency with subjective
perception
Analytical solution of axi-symmetrical lattice Boltzmann model for cylindrical Couette flows
Analytical solution for the axi-symmetrical lattice Boltzmann model is obtained for the low-Mach number cylindrical Couette flows. In the hydrodynamic limit, the present solution is in excellent agreement with the result of the Navier-Stokes equation. Since the kinetic boundary condition is used, the present analytical solution using nine discrete velocities can describe flows with the Knudsen number up to 0.1. Meanwhile, the comparison with the simulation data obtained by the direct simulation Monte Carlo method shows that higher-order lattice Boltzmann models with more discrete velocities are needed for highly rarefied flows
