ROOM BOOKING THROUGH ONLINE TRAVEL AGENT AT ASTON HOTEL PALEMBANG

Online Travel Agent is an internet-based platform that assists guests in booking hotel rooms. When a guest books a room through an Online Travel Agent, the booking will usually be directly accepted by the hotel if the hotel reservation department still opens the room booking service from the online travel agent. But on the other hand, if the reservation department has closed the online travel agent for booking rooms, guests automatically cannot book rooms because the hotel rooms are fully occupied. The high percentage of room bookings that have exceeded the percentage of sales through online travel agents at Hotel Aston Palembang has caused problems such as overbooking through online travel agents in the reservation department, causing guests who have come and have booked rooms through online travel agents but do not get rooms when checking in due to high occupancy rates. The purpose of this study is to determine the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in handling room reservations through the Online Travel Agent, the availability of supporting equipment for handling room reservations through the Online Travel Agent and the ability of staff in handling room reservations through the Online Travel Agent. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this qualitative research use observation and interviews. The reservation officer has implemented the Standard operational procedure for booking rooms properly but there are several things that are still not done by the reservation officer such as not confirming in detail the size of the guest bed and not closing the reservation allotment when the hotel is fully booked so that room overbooking occurs and becomes a guest complaint when checking in at Hotel Aston Palembang

Hak Anak Dalam Prinsip Bisnis di Industri Hotel

The city of Bandung and Subang are tourist attractions that offer a variety of entertainment, especially for family tourists in spending their vacation time. In supporting comfort and service so that tourists spend their time, it is necessary to support facilities ranging from hotels and restaurants that not only offer services for adult guests but also for children. The presence of children's guests is still often considered a minority by hoteliers. This can be seen from several hotels that have not considered the children's menu and facilities in the form of products or services that provide a sense of comfort and safety. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with a sample of hotels in Bandung and Subang where guests are family. The purpose of this study was to see how important the menu and facilities of children owned by hotel entrepreneurs in the City of Bandung and Subang. The results of this study indicate that hotel guest expectations regarding hotel services and facilities have an interval value of> 4.21, which means it is very important. Ratings with the highest scores are inclined to attributes of swimming pools and water parks, children's activities and play spaces as well as complete children's menus

Geologi Dan Pemodelan Kualitas Batugamping Sebagai Bahan Baku Semen Daerah Sumberarum, Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur

Kabupaten Tuban memiliki potensi batugamping yang melimpah yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku utama dalam pembuatan semen. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya kajian mengenai persebaran kualitas batugamping berdasarkan kandungan kadar kimia untuk mengetahui kelayakan sebagai bahan baku semen. Dari hal tersebut, timbul permasalahan bagaimana hubungan antara kondisi geologi, jenis fasies, diagenesis pembentukan dengan kualitasnya. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Sumberarum, Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan analisis petrografi didapatkan 5 jenis fasies pada daerah penelitian, diantaranya fasies Wackestone, fasies Packstone, fasies Floatstone, fasies Bafflestone dan fasies Crystalline. Berdasarkan analisis foram besar didapatkan kisaran umur pengendapan daerah penelitian yaitu N18-N21 di kala Pliosen dengan lingkungan pengendapan Open Marine hingga Platform-Margin Reef. Berdasarkan analisis uji XRF didapatkan dominasi kadar CaO tinggi pada daerah penelitian yang berkisar antara 54-58% dengan kadar MgO 3%, dimana dari hasil tersebut termasuk dalam klasifikasi sesuai untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan baku semen. Dari hasil pemodelan menggunakan software 3DMine didapatkan hasil nilai Sumberdaya batugamping pada daerah penelitian sebesar 158.563.750 m3 dengan tonase sebesar 293.154.750 ton dan nilai kadar komposisi kimia pada berkisar SiO2 1,48%, Al2O3 0,68%, Fe2O3 0,39%, CaO 52,98% dan MgO 1,78%, dengan target produksi tahunan sebesar 14juta ton, sehingga didapatkan estimasi umur tambang berdasarkan perhitungan yaitu 27 Tahun 9 Bulan

Analysis Of Assessment And Expectation Dental Polyclinic's Patients With Spider Web Method Based On Dabholkar Quality Dimension

There are many factors that determine health care service quality. One of them is the internal factor. This research was done to arrange recomendation increasingdental polyclinic utilization based on Dabholkar quality dimention.This was an observational study with cross sectional design of the 70 respondents who are representing dental polyclinic's patient in a month. Data were collected by questionnaires distributed to respondents to identify the respondent's assessment and expectation about physical aspects dimension, reliability dimension, personal interaction dimension, problem solving dimension, and policy dimension of dental polyclinic service quality. The conformity between assessment and expectation of respondentson service quality was analyzed based on Dabholkar quality dimension by using spider web. The results showed that most dimensions have been suitable about reliability dimension, personal interaction dimension and problem solving dimension. While the conformity of physical aspects dimension and policy dimension are not quite good. The conclusions showed that physical aspects dimension and policy dimension are the top priority, while reliability dimension, personal interaction dimension and problem solving dimensionneed repairement are still need to be maintained

Hypnobrithing Mengatasi Keluhan Selama Hamil

Menjalani masa kehamilan merupakan pengalaman yang menyenangkan bagi seorang wanita, walaupun proses fisiologis, tetapi pada umumnya menimbulkan kecemasan bahkan ketakutan yang berdampak pada ketidaknyamanan yang dialami dalam masa kehamilannya. Ketidaknyaman pada ibu hamil timbul akibat adanya perubahan hormonal , perubahan anatomi , metabolisme tubuh pada ibu hamil. Ketidaknyaman ini meliputi beberapa hal yaitu mual muntah, pusing, lemah, sering kencing, sakit punggung dan bengkak. Pengetahuan  ibu yang kurang menjadikan hal yang fisiologis dan berubah menjadi patologis. Selain konseling intervensi non farmakologis sangat di sarankan untuk mengatasi ketidaknyaman dalam kehamilan seperti pada metode hypnobirthing. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini mengaplikasikan metode hypnobirthing dalam kelas ibu hamil di Desa Kayangan Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cukir Jombang untuk mengurangi keluhan yang dialami oleh ibu hamil. Pada kegiatan ini didapatkan hasil berkurangnya keluhan ibu setelah dilakukan metode hypnobirthing yaitu mual muntah 3 peserta (27,3%), pusing 2 peserta (18,2%), nyeri punggung 5 peserta (45,5%), kram pada kaki 1 peserta (9,1%) dari total 30 peserta sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian masyarakat tersebut diharapkan metode hypnobirthing diaplikasikan dalam kelas ibu hamil di Desa Kayangan Kecamatan Diwek Jombang sebagai alternative mengatasi keluhan ibu pada masa kehamilan, dan bagi ibu hamil di harapkan lebih kooperatif dalam melakukan metode hypnobirthing sesuai arahan bidan

IMPROVING STUDENTS’ LISTENING SKILLS THROUGH PODCASTS AT SMP BOPKRI 1, YOGYAKARTA GRADE VIII, CLASS A IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2012 / 2013

The study aims at improving the listening skill of the grade VIII A students of SMP Bopkri 1 Yogyakarta in the academic year of 2012 / 2013. The podcasts was chosen as the teaching media in this study. This study was action research which comprised two cycles. The research was carried out from April to May 2013. It involved the researcher, the collaborator, and the students. The participants of this research were the teacher, the researcher, and 27 students of VIII A class of SMP Bopkri 1 Yogyakarta in the academic year of 2012 / 2013. The data of this study were qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative data were obtained by observing the teaching and learning process during the implementation of the actions and interviewing the students and the English teacher. It was in the form of field notes and interview transcripts. The quantitative data were taken by assessing the students speaking ability through the pre-test and the post-test. The finding of the first cycle indicated that the students’ listening skill improved along with a lot of listening practices. The result of the second cycle shows that the implementation of podcast improves the students’ listening skill, especially their spelling, vocabulary mastery and motivation by providing them a lot of listening activities. It was also found that using the classroom language more often can improve their spelling. The indicators of the success of the implementation were that: (1) the students were familiar with English sounds and spelling; (2) the students were more enthusiastic in doing listening activities; and (3) the students’ vocabulary mastery was improved. Furthermore, the findings were also supported by the means of the students’ listening score which improved from 70.22 in the pre-test to 76.59 in the post-test

Analisis Neraca Pendidikan Tingkat SMA Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This study aims to look at the balance of education at the senior high school level in Indragiri Hilir Regency with all the limitations as a district that does not have natural resources like other districts in Riau. Moreover, at the high school level is the average standard of the world of work today as the beginning of a career to become an adult human being. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques from literature studies which are analyzed using spiral data analysis techniques through purposive sampling. The results are 1) a sufficiently qualified budget 2) IPM which increased by 0.74% from the previous year 3) APK of 50.29% and APM of 69.67% still do not meet government standards 4) many teachers are fresh graduates, the status of civil servant teachers is still small to very many teachers who are not certified 5) more than 50% need minor repairs 6) 1/4 school need to increase accreditation. Based on these results, it can be concluded that education in Indragiri Hilir Regency at the high school level is still quite good

Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Menarik Minat Wisatawan Terhadap Keputusan Pemilihan Rumah Makan di Sumatera Selatan

As one of the provinces that widely in culinary diversity, South Sumatera is start to be one of tourism destination. This research was conducted in South Sumatera and selected by purposive sampling. The population in this study is tourists visiting South Sumatera. Analysis of the data used is descriptive statistics and parametric inferential statistics for hypothesis testing using Multiple Linear Regression through a SPSS 22 computer program. Based on the t test results obtained smaller t value t table (-4,811 <1,985), this shows that the price variable food (X1) does not significantly influence the level of selection (Y) of Restaurants in South Sumatra. Based on the t test results obtained by t count greater t table (3.570> 1.985), this shows that the service quality variable (X2) has a significant effect on purchase decision (Y) of Restaurants in South Sumatra. Based on the t test results obtained t value is smaller than t table (3,464 <1,985), this shows that the accessibility variable (X3) has a significant effect on the level of selection (Y) of Restaurants in South Sumatra. Based on the t test results obtained by t count greater t table (6.766> 1.985), this shows that the food quality variable (X4) has a significant effect on purchase decision (Y) of Restaurants in South Sumatra
