High Energy Density Anodes in Ionic Liquids for Next Generation Batteries

This study demonstrated the promising performance of lithium and zinc anodic redox couples in superconcentrated ionic liquid electrolytes for application in redox-cells. They\u27ve shown excellent cyclability, dendrite-free morphology and the capability to sustain high current operation indicating the great promise to overcome the critical requirements in developing high-energy density redox-flow batteries
