Warren G. Harding Newsreels 7-12
The beginning of this reel contains footage from the inauguration of President Harding. This is followed by footage of the new presidential cabinet members being individually sworn into office. Later, Florence Harding can be seen in New York City with two Girl Scouts. A later segment of the reel contains footage from Paramount News. It shows President Herbert Hoover and his predecessor, Calvin Coolidge, to speak at the Warren G. Harding Memorial in Marion, Ohio on June 16, 1931. The next segment of the reel contains footage of the Alliance Window Glass Co. manufacturing glass. It is unclear what, if any, significance or relation this has to Warren G. Harding. It is also unclear where that company existed or when the footage was created. The final segment of the reel contains some brief, poor quality footage of a turkey named "Sir Gobbler". It appears to feature Warren and Florence Harding, but it is difficult to confirm due to the low visual quality. Included is the following numbered newsreel: Pathe News 2
