    The purpose of the article is to study the shadow economy assessment methodology. This article presents a comprehensive study of the parameters of a shadow economy, considers its essence, and defines its terminology. This study outlines the historical approach to the development of the shadow economy, both in Russia and worldwide, and gives a brief analysis of the economy of the Republic of Sakha. The authors examined the specifics of the statistical methods applied in assessing various structural elements of a shadow economy and measured and assessed the shadow economy in this region. The research conducted enabled the authors to formulate the main measures required to reduce the shadow economy. The scientific novelty is justified by the research results, which included studying and summarizing a wide range of published and unpublished materials, the examination of the initial and transitional periods of the shadow economy development in Yakutia. The article reveals the main causes and conditions that lead to the formation of the shadow economy in various sectors of the Yakutia economy. The solutions and suggestions proposed in the article are aimed at reducing the shadow economy parameters. The scientific research results are of theoretical and applied importance for public administration and authorities to improve the effectiveness of the fight against the shadow economy manifestations

    Proximity effect as a probe of electronic correlations and exchange field in dirty ferromagnet/superconductor nanostructures

    We investigate the interplay between the BCS and 2D Larkin-Ovchinnikov- Fulde-Ferrell (LOFF) states in the dirty thin ferromagnetic metal/superconductor (FM/S) nanostructures. For the FM/S bilayers we have derived the dependencies of critical temperature on the FM layer exchange field, electronic correlations and thickness. Moreover, in the corresponding FM/S/FM trilayers we predict two new n phase superconducting states with electron-electron repulsion in the FM layers. The 2D modulated LOFF states are possible in such trilayers only in presence of a weak magnetic field and at suitable parameters of the FM and S layers. On this base we originally propose the method of proximity effect probe the magnitude and sign of the electronic correlations, the order parameter symmetry and exchange fields in various FM layers

    Cohesion forces in contacts of discrete spherical particles (having either hydrophilic or hydrophobic surface) were measured directly in aqueous or heptane solutions. It is shown that the stabilizing action of tensides in the hydrophobic particle system was brought about by a two-dimensional pressure of the adsorbed tenside which is easily removed · from the contact zone of the particle. The stabilizing action of tensides in the hydrophilic particle systems is a consequence of the formation of a mechanical barrier which has a high apparent strength due to the adsorbed layer on the solid surface

    AbstractThe individuals are modeled by the elements of variable domains. The primitive frame to detect the individual migration from domain to domain is proposed. The supporting computational model is based on a separation of individuals into actual, possible and virtual ones. As was shown, this leads to an adoption of the stage-by-stage cognition model with a pair of evolvents to capture dynamics of the domains – the 2-dimensions model. The first evolvent reflects the generation of the individuals in a domain, the beginning of and canceling out their existence in a domain. The second evolvent reflects the shifts in properties of the individuals. As awaited this unified data model will have the applications to a wide range of models in computer science and Information Technologies

    Potential influence of climate-induced vegetation shifts on future land use and associated land carbon fluxes in Northern Eurasia

    Climate change will alter ecosystem metabolism and may lead to a redistribution of vegetation and changes in fire regimes in Northern Eurasia over the 21st century. Land management decisions will interact with these climate-driven changes to reshape the region's landscape. Here we present an assessment of the potential consequences of climate change on land use and associated land carbon sink activity for Northern Eurasia in the context of climate-induced vegetation shifts. Under a 'business-as-usual' scenario, climate-induced vegetation shifts allow expansion of areas devoted to food crop production (15%) and pastures (39%) over the 21st century. Under a climate stabilization scenario, climate-induced vegetation shifts permit expansion of areas devoted to cellulosic biofuel production (25%) and pastures (21%), but reduce the expansion of areas devoted to food crop production by 10%. In both climate scenarios, vegetation shifts further reduce the areas devoted to timber production by 6–8% over this same time period. Fire associated with climate-induced vegetation shifts causes the region to become more of a carbon source than if no vegetation shifts occur. Consideration of the interactions between climate-induced vegetation shifts and human activities through a modeling framework has provided clues to how humans may be able to adapt to a changing world and identified the trade-offs, including unintended consequences, associated with proposed climate/energy policies.United States.     Three-body correlations in direct reactions: Example of 6^{6}Be populated in (p,n)(p,n) reaction

    The 6^{6}Be continuum states were populated in the charge-exchange reaction 1^1H(6^{6}Li,6^{6}Be)nn collecting very high statistics data (5×106\sim 5 \times 10^6 events) on the three-body α\alpha+pp+pp correlations. The 6^{6}Be excitation energy region below 3\sim 3 MeV is considered, where the data are dominated by contributions from the 0+0^+ and 2+2^+ states. It is demonstrated how the high-statistics few-body correlation data can be used to extract detailed information on the reaction mechanism. Such a derivation is based on the fact that highly spin-aligned states are typically populated in the direct reactions.Comment: submitted to Physical Review
