Hyperfine anomaly in Be isotopes in the cluster model and the neutron spatial distribution
The study of the hyperfine anomaly of neutron rich nuclei, in particular,
neutron halo nuclei, can give a very specific and unique way to measure their
neutron distribution and confirm a halo structure. The hyperfine structure
anomaly in Be+ ions is calculated with a realistic electronic wave function,
obtained as a solution of the Dirac equation. In the calculations, the Coulomb
potential modified by the charge distribution of the clustered nucleus and
three electrons in the 1s^2 2s configuration is used. The nuclear wave function
is obtained in the core+nucleon model of 9,11Be. The aim of this study is to
test whether the hyperfine structure anomaly reflects a halo structure in 11Be.Comment: 8 pages, 1 figur
Possibility to study a two-proton halo in Ne
The nuclide Ne is studied theoretically in a three-body
O++ model. We demonstrate that the experimental condition for
existence of a proton halo in Ne can be reasonably quantified in terms
of configuration mixing. We discuss experimental evidences for a proton
halo in Ne. We define which kind of experimental data could elucidate
this issue.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
Theoretical study of one-proton removal from 15O
One-proton removal from 15O at intermediate energies (56 A MeV) is studied in the eikonal approximation of the Glauber model. The production of the 14N core fragment in the ground and excited states is regarded. The calculated proton removal cross section, the 15O interaction cross section, and the longitudinal momentum distribution of the 14N fragments are compared to recent experimental data [1]. [1] H. From Coulomb excitation cross sections to non-resonant astrophysical rates in three-body systems: Ne case
Coulomb and nuclear dissociation of Ne on light and heavy targets are
studied theoretically. The dipole E1 strength function is determined in a broad
energy range including energies of astrophysical interest. Dependence of the
strength function on different parameters of the Ne ground state
structure and continuum dynamics is analyzed in a three-body model. The
discovered dependence plays an important role for studies of the strength
functions for the three-body E1 dissociation and radiative capture. The
constraints on the configuration mixing in Ne and on
-wave interaction in the O+ channel are imposed based on
experimental data for Ne Coulomb dissociation on heavy target.Comment: 12 pages, 13 figure
Modern technical solutions of foreign battery mould
Review of foreign battery mould production Weckenmann (Germany), EBAWE (Germany), Elematic (Finland) is made in the article. It is noted that the use of optimized designs of battery form allows you to get inside the wall panels with precise geometric dimensions, the required category of the concrete surface, which does not require additional processing on the construction site
Sulfate corrosion of concrete caused by thionic bacteria
The article deals with conditions for the occurrence of sulfate corrosion of concrete. It is noted that thionic bacteria, changing pH of the medium at the expense of formed sulfuric acid, are active corrosion agents. The activity of thionic bacteria leads to concrete corrosion of the second and the third type. It is shown that the intensity of biocorrosion destruction is determined by the rate of chemical reactions and microorganisms and internal diffusion of metabolic products in the concrete structure is determined by the rate of chemical reactions and internal diffusion microorganisms and products of their metabolism in the concrete structure. The article presents modern methods of protection from sulfate corrosion
Effective Modifiers of Gypsum Binders Substances
A brief analytical review of the modifiers of gypsum binders is given. It is shown that the modification of gypsum binders enhances the physical and mechanical characteristics: strength, water resistance. It is possible to use as modifiers: sludge of water treatment of Novopolotsk HES, cinder of «Belorusskaya GRES», fiberglass of JSC «Polotsk-Steklovolokno»
