In this work we should aim to compare the methods used to carry out the A.S.I.A. Archives to those concerning other countries "Integrated Statistic Registers" and particularly Great Britain. In several industrialised countries, such as the United States (Standard Statistical Establishment List SSEL), Canada (Business Redesign Project BSRP), the Netherlands (Central General Business Register: CGBR), Australia (Australian Bureau of Statistic: ABS), Denmark (Central Business Register) and Great Britain (Business Register) this method is already being used, in different ways, causing relevant advantages in times and costs. In Italy since 1994 an active business statistic register has been created through the integration of those information received from administrative sources run by other private and public societies

Spatial clustering phenomena of the non-native resident population in italy

The profound economic, social and cultural rights have taken place in recent years raise the issue of migration the subject of extensive scientific debate. In Italy, it is the presence of a diffusion model, more or less evenly distributed throughout the national territory, with some differences in the different Italian provinces [1, 2]. In the work we studied aims primarily to check for actual regular foreigners in our country, analyzing the economic system at the provincial level and comparing the level of employment of non-resident for-eign population than foreign. This objective is reached also through the use of methods of spatial cluster aimed at the aggregation of spatial units territorially contiguous, by forcing the various units making up each cluster

Con riferimento all’Italia Meridionale la recente creazione di parchi nazionali si rivela una occasione di sviluppo sostenibile basato non piu' sui macro-investimenti ma su progettazioni a misura di uomo. Statistical analysis of the circular economy for the intervention policies of the NRRP

PurposeThis paper deals with analyzing the relationships between the domains of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Missions envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). Specifically, the authors refer to Mission 2 (Green revolution and ecological transition) and to the statistical indicators related to the M2C1 component (Circular economy and sustainable agriculture).Design/methodology/approachThe numerous data available were analyzed at a regional level using multivariate statistical methodologies (Totally Fuzzy and Relative method) capable of summarizing the various information to evaluate the current situation relating to the "circular economy and sustainable agriculture" component. The presence of multiple updated data allows for the development of a holistic approach to the evaluation of the local government policies in place and to be able to monitor the progress of the subsequent intervention policies of the Italian government.FindingsNo Findings.Originality/value NRRP represents an opportunity for development for the area, providing for reforms and substantial investments for the promotion of circular economy solutions, the improvement of the capacity for efficient and sustainable waste management, the strengthening of the infrastructures for treatment of waste and separate collection, the reduction of the North/South gap

Il volume è frutto dell’esperienza didattica e di ricerca maturata dai due autori in campo universitario e di specializzazione post laurea (Master). Integrated Statistical Data for Planning Social Housing in the City of Taranto

Housing is often considered a crucial element in determining the level of income and social well-being, in recognition of the ways in which housing shortages, or the use of poor-quality housing, are statistically linked to income levels and can negatively affect on people’s well-being (Rolfe et alii, 2020). So, planning social housing isn’t just a question of houses, but it claims for a deep understanding of people living conditions, social and economic dynamics. That’s why is necessary to integrate different statistical data to develop a model of social and economic living conditions of people to address better and context-based housing policies. The paper analyses methods and tools to integrate appropriate statistical data to guide housing policies in the case of the city of Taranto, selecting those most useful for determining supply and demand to guide urban planning in subsequent participatory and implementation paths. La pianificazione regionale dei distretti industriali: dall’analisi statistica agli effetti sullo sviluppo locale in Puglia

Il contributo si basa sull’analisi dell’evoluzione dei Distretti Industriali in Puglia, attraverso lo studio delle dinamiche rilevate mediante indicatori statistici e delle politiche urbanistiche attuate per regolarle. L’analisi statistica parte dalle informazioni desumibili attraverso i Censimenti ISTAT riguardanti la popolazione e il numero di addetti e unità locali presenti nei distretti, a seconda dei settori di specializzazione produttiva, mentre, dal punto di vista urbanistico, si esamina lo stato attuale della pianificazione dei distretti in Puglia, ai sensi della recente legge regionale n°2 del 2003, i suoi riflessi sugli strumenti di attuazione delle politiche comunitarie e sulla pianificazione ordinaria come disciplinata dalla LUR n°20/2001. Il lavoro intende, quindi, illustrare in forma sintetica rispetto alla complessità dell’argomento, le modalità con le quali la regione Puglia ha disciplinato gli interventi di sviluppo economico, le attività produttive, le aree industriali e quelle ecologicamente attrezzate, nel contesto più ampio della pianificazione urbanistica e territoriale, cercando di evidenziare, per quanto possibile, le criticità e le opportunità rilevate sulla base dei dati statistici analizzati

Different fuzzy cluster validity indexes for the evaluation of the quality of the resulting partitioning

Fuzzy clustering is useful to mine complex and multi-dimensional datasets, where the members have partial or fuzzy relations. The procedure of evaluating the results of a fuzzy clustering algorithm is known under the term cluster validity. There are three principal approaches to investigate cluster validity: external, internal and relative criteria (Theodoridis and Koutroubas, 1999). These methods give an indication of the quality of the resulting partitioning and, so, they can be considered as an instrument available to experts in order to assess the results of fuzzy clustering. In this work we apply some indexes to evaluate the quality of the results obtained from a case study
