Tame and wild theorem for the category of filtered by standard modules for a quasi-hereditary algebra
We introduce the notion of interlaced weak ditalgebras and apply reduction
procedures to their module categories to prove the tame-wild dichotomy for the
category of filtered by standard modules for a
quasi-hereditary algebra. Moreover, in the tame case, we show that given a
fixed dimension , for every -dimensional indecomposable module , with the only possible exception of those lying in a finite
number of isomorphism classes, the module coincides with its
Auslander-Reiten translate in . Our results are based on a
theorem by Koenig, K\"ulshammer, and Ovsienko relating with

Minimally non-local nucleon-nucleon potentials with chiral two-pion exchange including 's
We construct a coordinate-space chiral potential, including -isobar
intermediate states in its two-pion-exchange component. The contact
interactions entering at next-to-leading and next-to-next-to-next-to-leading
orders ( and , respectively, denoting generically the low
momentum scale) are rearranged by Fierz transformations to yield terms at most
quadratic in the relative momentum operator of the two nucleons. The low-energy
constants multiplying these contact interactions are fitted to the 2013 Granada
database, consisting of 2309 and 2982 data (including, respectively,
148 and 218 normalizations) in the laboratory-energy range 0--300 MeV. For the
total 5291 and data in this range, we obtain a /datum of
roughly 1.3 for a set of three models characterized by long- and short-range
cutoffs, and respectively, ranging from fm down to fm. The long-range
(short-range) cutoff regularizes the one- and two-pion exchange (contact) part

Application of the coherent state formalism to multiply excited states
A general expression is obtained for the matrix element of an m-body operator
between coherent states constructed from multiple orthogonal coherent boson
species. This allows the coherent state formalism to be applied to states
possessing an arbitrarily large number of intrinsic excitation quanta. For
illustration, the formalism is applied to the two-dimensional vibron model
[U(3) model], to calculate the energies of all excited states in the large-N

Protectionist Responses to the Crisis: Global Trends and Implications
In this paper we take a systematic look at recent trends in global protectionism and at the potential implications of a protectionist backlash for economic growth, using results from the recent economic literature and new model simulations. We find that there has so far been a moderate increase in actual protectionist measures to restrict trade through tariff and non-tariff barriers. At the same time, evidence from surveys shows that public pressure for more economic protection has been mounting since the mid-2000s, and has possibly intensified since the start of the financial crisis. However, no World Trade Organization (WTO) member has retreated into widespread trade restrictions or protectionism to date. Our model-based simulations suggest that the impairment of the global flow of trade would hamper the recovery from the crisis, as well as the long-term growth of the global economy. At the same time, it is unlikely that protectionism would help to correct existing current account imbalances. Moreover, the countries implementing protectionist measures should expect a deterioration of their international competitiveness, which would further affect the potential for longer-term real GDP growth.Protectionism ; trade ; financial crisis ; competitiveness ; World Trade Organization ; global imbalances.
The enigmatic young object : Walker 90/V590 Monocerotis
Aims. We assess the evolutionary status of the intriguing object Walker 90/V590 Mon, which is located about 20 arcmin northwest of the Cone Nebula near the center of the open cluster NGC 2264. This object, according to its most recent optical spectral type determination (B7), which we confirmed, is at least 3 mag too faint in V for the cluster distance, but it shows the classical signs of a young pre-main sequence object, such as highly variable H emission, Mg II emission, IR excess, UV continuum, and optical variability.
Methods. We analyzed a collection of archival and original data on Walker 90, covering 45 years including photometry, imaging, and spectroscopic data ranging from ultraviolet to near-infrared wavelengths.
Results. According to star formation processes, it is expected that, as this object clears its primordial surroundings, it should become optically brighter, show a weakening of its IR excess and present decreasing line emissions. This behavior is supported by our observations and analysis, but timescales are expected to be longer than the one observed here. Based on photometric data secured in 2007, we find Walker 90 at its brightest recorded optical magnitude √(12.47 ± 0.06). We document an evolution in spectral type over the past five decades (from A2/A3 to currently B7 and as early as B4), along with a decrease in the near-infrared K fluxes. From near-infrared VISIR images secured in 2004, Walker 90 appears as a point source placing an upper limit of < 0.1" for its diameter. Evidence of turbulent inflows is found in rapidly changing inverse P-Cygni profiles in the lower Balmer lines, with a broadening of ±400 km s-1 in Hα and a redshifted component in Hβ with a terminal velocity of ~600 km s-1. The measured steep UV continuum fluxes (mimicking a star as early as B4), added to a tentative identification of N V emission, suggest a strong non-photospheric component, typically of fluxes arising from a thermally inhomogeneous accretion disk. We detect a well defined 2200 Å bump, indicative of dense material in the line-of-sight. We conclude that many observational features are explained if W90 is a flared disk system, surrounded by an inclined optically thick accretion disk
