The effect of phenylhydrazine on the level of hemolysis of human, equine, bovine and rabbit red blood cells as well as the ability of amphiphilic compounds to protect the cells from damage under hypertonic hemolysis has been studied. It has been revealed that treatment of mammalian red blood cells with phenylhydrazine changes their sensitivity to hypertonic cryohemolysis, herewith the sensitivity of human and equine red blood cells to stress effect reduces and those of bovine and rabbit increase. There was found the reduction of antihaemolytic activity of amphiphilic compounds under conditions of hypertonic cryohemolysis of human, equine and bovine red blood cells, modified with phenylhydrazine.

Modeling of grain subdivision during severe plastic deformation by VPSC method combined with disclination analysis

    No full text
Microstructure development during severe plastic deformation by simple shear is modeled using a combination of the visco-plastic self-consistent (VPSC) method and a disclination model. Strain incompatibilities between a homogeneous effective medium and a grain are calculated by VPSC. These are assumed to result in an accumulation of disclinations in the junctions of a grain that are relaxed by a growth of low-angle dislocation boundaries from the junctions. Predicted misorientation distributions between subgrains and their parent grains agree semi-quantitatively with experimental misorientation distributions for geometrically necessary boundaries. The texture after 100% simple shear was found to be insensitive to the presence of subgrains with misorientations less than 15º

Fragmentation and Multifragmentation of 10.6A GeV Gold Nuclei

We present the results of a study performed on the interactions of 10.6A GeV gold nuclei in nuclear emulsions. In a minimum bias sample of 1311 interac- tions, 5260 helium nuclei and 2622 heavy fragments were observed as Au projec- tile fragments. The experimental data are analyzed with particular emphasis of target separation interactions in emulsions and study of criticalexponents. Multiplicity distributions of the fast-moving projectile fragments are inves- tigated. Charged fragment moments, conditional moments as well as two and three -body asymmetries of the fast moving projectile particles are determined in terms of the total charge remaining bound in the multiply charged projectile fragments. Some differences in the average yields of helium nuclei and heavier fragments are observed, which may be attributed to a target effect. However, two and three-body asymmetries and conditional moments indicate that the breakup mechanism of the projectile seems to be independent of target mass. We looked for evidence of critical point observable in finite nuclei by study the resulting charged fragments distributions. We have obtained the values for the critical exponents gamma, beta and tau and compare our results with those at lower energy experiment (1.0A GeV data). The values suggest that a phase transition like behavior, is observed.Comment: latex, revtex, 28 pages, 12 figures, 3tables, submitted to Europysics Journal

Sustainable development of local street road network in Megalopolis

    No full text
The article emphasizes and substantiates the principles of sustainable development of the Street-Road Network (SRN) based on improving the quality of life of the urban population, and also it deals with the problems in the transport infrastructure of a megacity. The technique of diagnostic analysis of qualitative indicators of SRN functioning is observed. There have been determined the main approaches to the sustainable development of the SRN at the local level in the megacity. Its main indicator parameters are analyzed on the example of certain areas of the largest metropolis in the world - Moscow. Their technical and ecological state is assessed. The most effective management tools in the SRN system of the megalopolis at the local level are identified. The development concept of the priority direction of SRN in a stable regime is formulated on the basis of the system approach, the obtained results are aimed at ensuring the social, ecological and economic effect of its activities

Dynamics factors and slow-response characteristics of Russian trade ties

Transformation of the world economy, new economic challenges, integration processes as a basis for international production cooperation require an in-depth study of international trade development. The aim of the research is modeling of trade ties of Russia and its key foreign economic partners and distinguishing crucial factors influencing dynamics of external trade flows. As part of the study we selected appropriate methods of econometric analysis of international trade dynamics in various branches. We used the following methods: a gravity model of mutual trade, a method of regressive decision trees, autoregression and a method of multidimensional adaptive regressive splines. We also distinguished crucial exogenous factors, influencing mutual trade of the researched countries. Having used various models, we found the most important determining factor for Russian foreign trade – prior period export (a system of international contracts). It can be explained by high transaction costs connected with new business- partners search and predominance of large long – term contracts in international trade. Using the concept of ‘specificity of assets’, we substantiated a response rate of international trade ties, which tend to be reproduced in former structural parameters as time goes by. It was proved that a response rate of international trade ties is characteristic for all researched countries. © 2017, by ASERS® Publishing. All rights reserved
